Now that we've launched our blog, one of the things I'm looking most forward to is interacting with you, our guest. I very much want to hear about your experience at either Ridgecrest or Glorieta.
Currently I get to read dozens of testimonies and comments from our guests each month. Primarily these are coming from the online surveys we email to guests who have recently stayed at Ridgecrest or Glorieta. As beneficial and encouraging as these comments are, they are fairly anonymous so it's not easy for me to respond personally to each one.
So, in order to encourage more interactive communication, we have set up the "Guest Testimonies" area on our blog. This is the place where you can tell us your Ridgecrest or Glorieta story. Please take a moment and let us know such things as: how you enjoyed your stay; any suggestions you may have for us; and my favorite, share a testimony of how God worked in your life, or group, while on campus.
To tell us your story (or read what others are saying), simply go to the "comment" area below, enter your information (only your name will display) and then leave us your comments. It's that easy!
Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you.

I wanted to write and thank the staff at Lifeway for Ridgecrest. There is honestly no place I’d rather go for a stay.
Our retreat was just a lil’ overnight stay, but getting away to this special place, I don’t know, it’s just a place to do business with God!!
Of course, we did love the welcoming of the bear at our back door!
I lead the young adults at our church, and we are planning on going in Oct.
for a weekend retreat.
Your "Threads" for young adults is awesome and I really believe Lifeway has a heart for people.
Thanks so much!!

Thanks Gina. I could tell from her Twitter chatter that Holly was really looking forward to the UNBOUND retreat. Glad to hear all went well. Also glad to hear the unplanned bear encounter was uneventful!
I had an amazing time at Ridgecrest this past weekend. I met with the UNBOUND girls for a simple over night stay. The environment truly sets up the opportunity to encounter God! Through His gorgeous creation that surrounds the conference center. The peacefulness of just being there is overwhelming. As soon as we arrived I had no worries of what I needed to do or what I should have done. We were able to sit in our room the entire weekend praying, reflecting and seeking God for the direction as a Ministry team without any distractions. Thanks for providing a place for anyone to come and SEE God FEEL God and learn more about Him through seminars or retreats or just being alone reading. I am sooo excited to be returning in a few months! Maybe mommy bear and her two cubs will come out to play once again :) Ephesians 3:20
That's awesome Holly. I look forward to following on Twitter and hearing what God is doing through your UNBOUND ministry!
Byron, as you know, I was a trustee back in 2001 and we held our meeting at Glorieta that September. We were all shocked and deeply saddened by the events of 9/11 ... we were also stranded! Since I was heading all the way to Syracuse, New York I was one of the last four people to leave. Glorieta will always be very special to me because I walked all over the grounds, wept, and prayed for our country for three days. For me, it is truly hallowed ground. My prayer has always been and will continue to be that God will use these facilities for His continued glory and Kingdom growth.
I, too, will never forget that trustee meeting at Glorieta. You might not remember, but that was my first trustee meeting after coming to LifeWay. That alone would have made memorable, but the events of 9/11 make it unforgetable. Then, to top everything off, we had to return to Nashville via bus. 26 hours on a bus is something I pretty much try to forget. :-)
We just spent three days camped in a tent on top of Glorieta Baldy and three days in deluxe accomodations at Glorieta Conference Center. What a great way to spend a family vacation! We shopped at Lifeway Bookstore, had a latte at Holy Grounds, read a book in the prayer garden, checked email in New Mexico Hall, and chatted with wonderful staff like Hal Hill, Evodio Rios, Pat and Lynn White, Jim Hansen, and Joe Palmer, and a host of High Point staff students. What a blessing Glorieta is to our family!

Hey Byron and Hal, Just got back from taking two of our former LifeWay trustees on a golf trip to Glorieta. Accomodations were great, hospitality was even better and, of course, the quality of golf in the Glorieta/Sante Fe area was fantastic. Keep up the great work and ministry!!! I will be back soon!!
Glad to hear all went well Mike. Wish I could've joined you guys. Would've been nice to see Rocky and Ed!
The last time I was at Glorieta was at least three years ago during College Week in August. When I got home, I realized that I had left a very special Bible that my husband had given me for my graduation from seminary. I had long forgotten about it until I received a call from the lost and found office at Glorieta wanting to know if I was the owner of the Bible. It was like getting it for the first time! The special touch that the dedicated staff really showed me how they go above and beyond what is expected.
Thanks for sharing your Glorieta story, Mika. Glad to hear we were able to help!
