Prayer Team Needed
Whether you join us in Nashville or follow Deeper Still on the blog, we need you to pray for our time together. We've prepared a prayer guide for the days leading up to Deeper Still. God has given our team the following verses to claim in prayer:
I know that You can do anything and no plan of Yours can be thwarted. Job 42:2 (HCSB)
How happy is the man who does not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path of sinners,or join a group of mockers! Instead, his delight is in the Lord’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night. Introducing...Michelle Hicks
Hey ladies! I am so excited to join you in this journey as we experience Deeper Still – Nashville! I’ve been serving with the LifeWay Women’s Event Team for about three years now. You may hear me called the girl who trains the Encouragers for the altar call or the “short one over there.” I am married to a great guy and we have three sweet daughters. Hence, I have no hobbies because I am busy multi-tasking a family of five! I love God’s Word and want others to study and dig deeper into Scripture and love it too. Could that be why I am sooo excited about Deeper Still?
Let’s see…my favorite verse today is Jeremiah 33:3—Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and wondrous things you do not know. (HCSB)
Not Just an Event, A Movement of God
Have you ever felt like you were in the right place at the right time? And I mean it was God’s timing and something you could never orchestrate by your own planning or power. A real “Esther 4:14—for such a time as this” kind of moment. That is how I felt at Deeper Still in San Francisco, California in March this year.

From Priscilla....
Hello girls!
I'm so excited about Deeper Still Nashville! Can you believe that in less than two weeks about 25,000 of us are going to converge on TN? I can't wait to see what God has in store for all of us as we sit in and soak up the presence of God.
San Fransisco took Miss Beth, Miss Kay and me by storm! We were blown away by God's hand among us as we worshipped together and dug deeply into His Word. Those wonderful West Coast women were dancing and waving their hands like wild people! It was FABULOUS. (You know I go to the sort of church where that kind of thing is normal)! They even talked back to me throughout my message. There's nothin' better than a rousing "AMEN" from the audience when you are in the middle of a thought! I wonder if we can

Rumor has it that there are women coming to Deeper Still Nashville from 36 states and 3 countries! OK, really it is LifeWay Events Registration saying this, but I would like to take a “ROLL CALL” and find out where you are coming from to join us for Deeper Still.

Many of us can't make it very long without a good cup of java. Nashville has those little local shops as well as the most popular chain. If you're like the coffee addict in my family, you probably travel with your own coffee. But just in case you don't you might want to hit up

# 9 Let’s Do Lunch!
Hey girls! If I were to give you one piece of advice for Deeper Still lunch break on Saturday, it would be to have a plan. So, here are a few suggestions:
Plan a picnic. Bring a lunch in a cooler and leave it in your car. Then at the lunch break you can grab your lunch and drink out of the car and relax in any of the green spaces in downtown Nashville. You really don’t want to

PRAYER - What an unbelieveable, amazing privilege we have to communicate with the Most High God!!!
There are so many of you that have made a specific effort to let me know you are praying for Deeper Still. Many of you are lifting us up daily using the 30 day prayer guide that you received in the mail. If you didn't receive one yet, just join in now for the last 7 days.
This past Tuesday night a small group of us met down at the Sommet Center (formerly the GEC) and had a sweet time of prayer as we walked around the outside of the arena and bombarded the Throne Room on behalf of every person associated with this event. If you were here

More from Priscilla
Well sisters! I wish you could be at my house right now. There's the most beautiful sound that I have ever heard filling the air. . . COMPLETE SILENCE! My hunk of a husband blessed me by taking the boys to Alabama for the weekend to spend time with some relatives so that I can have some peace and quiet to spend time with the Lord and prepare for all of you next weekend. I haven't heard this beautiful sound of "nothing-ness" in this house in as long as I can remember. I think I like it! (Hope I welcome them home with enthusiasm).
#8 Your turn to share....
Many of you have attended various women’s events through the years, for others Deeper Still will be your first women’s event in a large venue. We would love for some of the “veterans” to pass along your helpful hints to the “rookies.” My helpful hint: bring an extra pair of shoes! You never realize how much walking, climbing stairs, and running around hotel hallways at night will wear out your feet. The change of shoes provides a little relief. And hey, you never can have too many shoes!
