Prayer Team Needed

Whether you join us in Nashville or follow Deeper Still on the blog, we need you to pray for our time together. We've prepared a prayer guide for the days leading up to Deeper Still. God has given our team the following verses to claim in prayer:

I know that You can do anything and no plan of Yours can be thwarted. Job 42:2 (HCSB)

How happy is the man who does not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path of sinners,or join a group of mockers! Instead, his delight is in the Lord’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night. He is like a tree planted beside streams of water that bears its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
Psalms 1:1-3 (HCSB)

Will you join us in praying that God would move in an incredible way in our midst? Our final prayer gathering will be on at the Sommet Center on Tuesday, August 28th from 6pm-7pm. If you live in Nashville, stop by and join your hearts with ours in prayer.

What are you praying God will do in your heart at Deeper Still?

I am so excited to see this. I sense the move God is using through the Deeper Still Women's Events. And Atlanta Deeper Still is excited to be in the middle of God's activities for such a time as this.

I pray daily the scriptures God gave during our initial meeting in Nashville, (one is: 1Thess. 2:8
We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.)

We have great expectations and feel the joy of the Lord bubblin' up in my Spirit as He prepares us for an awesome time at our June 27-28th Deeper Still 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia. Come Join US!

I am praying that God will increase the passion in my heart for HIM and HIS Word!! I sense that God is taking me on a new journey with Him and I am asking, expecting to hear a word from God in that direction. I am also praying for all the attendees and the speakers and worship singers, LifeWay event team, for all of us to have an encounter with God that we will never forget. I am believing God is going to move in ways that will break people free of the chains that have entangled them and allow them to have freedom in Christ. I will be an encourager that this event and my prayer is that God will lead the women to me that he wants me to pray with and will give the words to speak over them. I pray we will be transformed and that we will never be the same!!! May we walk in the callings and purposes that God has for each one of us and I am asking for God to show us HIS Glory!!!

Ladies,

You touch our hearts when we read your prayers. Even if you are not attending Deeper Still, please feel free write out a prayer that we can post.

"Now may the God of endurance and encouragement grant you agreement with one another, according to Christ Jesus, so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with a united mind and voice."
--Romans 15:5-6 (HCSB)

Let's call on God united together in a mighty voice!

I am from Houston and my sister lives in TN. I am coming there so we can praise together and receive God's word. I am praying that my sister will be able to meet many Christian friends from her area (Vonore, Knoxville) with whom she can have some good fellowship when she returns home. She has only lived in the area a couple of years. I can't wait to see God move in this conference and in the area. Praying the Holy Spirit will move mightily before, during and after the conference.

I'm coming with 20 other girlfriends from the Franklin, TN YMCA. We love to work out together, then do Bible studies (we've done 3 Beth Moore:) It's beautiful since we are all involved in different churches, different denominations, but we all call Jesus our Lord and Savior, and our desire is to walk in purpose for the Kingdom of God. Praise the Lord for our girlfriends in the Lord!!!!! We are going to get closer to the Lord through the teaching of the Word, praise and worship, and sharing our testimonies with each other. God is Good!!!!!! God Bless this conference- may Jesus be glorified!
Love,
Angel Faulk

Dear Sisters in Christ,

Just received this e-mail of the Blog today of Deeper Still. How exciting that women across the US are joining together to get deeper into God's Word and grow together and pray together. Exciting!!!!!! Will not be able to attend in Nashville for I will be in CA but know that I have printed off the prayer guide and will be bringing all of you and speakers to the Wonderful Throne of Grace, asking Him to bless you all as you come into His Presence seeking Him with all your Heart.

Praying with you,

Jesus I just wanted to ask you today that you would just blow us away this weekend. We are coming from all walks of life and every situation and circumstance, but You know them all. Thank you for orchestrating this event and bringing us all together for our own unique time with you. Some of these women may have no idea why they are there, but You know, and we are trusting you to do your thing!

As a youngin' siesta I pray that you would use those 3 women to "mother" us all they want and encourage us as a daughter generation in training to further your Kingdom as we grow deeper with you in our own lives. I pray that the older generations above us would also be stretched and encouraged to keep on keepin' on no matter what life throws their way. I pray that each heart would be in tune with yours and that you would mold us into warriors of the faith with each word spoken and sung.

God I thank you that you don't make mistakes and that you are not a "messed-up" God. You don't have a dark side, and you are each of our biggest cheerleaders. Astound us with your beauty and thrill us with your love. Jesus if there was ever anything too beautiful or marvelous for words, it is YOU!!!
We love you and thank you for this opportunity to seek your face together. In your Sons most precious and Holy name, AMEN!!!!!
