Calling ALL Bloggers!

It has come to our attention that there is a group of LPL "Siestas" (bloggers) that will be sporting some new shirts at Deeper Still on Saturday.

We ordered similar shirts for our entire group, except we put the words "SISTERS" on top and the church name and town at the bottom. That way, the design was the same for all of us, but no one felt left out if they were not bloggers.

The design is available at the printing company for you to make adjustments if you decide to do one for your church group in the same colors and style. Very cool, everyone LOVED it.

thanks so much for a wonderful weekend of hearing God's word taught like it should be, the deeper level.
we were so blessed by everything, teaching, singing, laughter..
how precious to see how "normal" and fun the speakers are and their hearts for taking us all deeper still. don't stop!!!

I truly enjoyed the Deeper Still Event this weekend in Nasville! My daughter, her mother-in-law and I were truly blessed to have had the opportunity to spend the wekend with other Christian women!

I continue to be a bit troubled however, for your missed opportunity to teach the true plan of salvation to a captive audience. Although your messages are uplifitng and a little emotion based...they are effective using real life "stuff" as well as humor and this connects to so many. I am puzzled about your avoidance of the one of the necessary steps to salvation...Baptisim. During this weekend, there were no references made to baptisim. This is troubling for me.

The New Testament scriptures are very clear regarding Baptisim. Mark 1:5, Acts 2:38, Acts 2:41, Acts 8:12, Acts 10:48, Rom 6:3, Gal 3:27 and on and on.

Your ministries are reaching a massive number of woman and it is so critical that you insure that you are not in a gray area of "false doctrine" by not including the necessary step of being baptised FOR the remission of sins (not BECAUSE of remission of sins). The scriptures are very clear and there is no gray area.

Again, we enjoyed the event!

Nashville was awesome!!! For future Deeper Still locations, one piece of advice: PREPARE FOR LUNCH ON SATURDAY BEFORE YOU GET THERE!!!! I suggest packing a cooler lunch and leaving in your car and having a picnic during the lunch break. The break is 11/2 with very very long lines. The lines to get lunch and the long waits in the restuarants were almost unbearable.

The very small group of us that were able to attend Deeper Still were so blown away that our only regret is that EVERY woman at our church did not get to hear message that God wants to speak to each of us, He wants us to be free, He designed us to be who we are for His purpose and delight! The only thing that would make it any better would be if Lifeway offered this as a DVD (with a licensing fee or whatever) so it could be shared with those women that can't travel. I was so blessed by all three speakers that I just want to share it all! Thank you Priscilla, Beth, and Kay for allowing God to use you so and thank you Lifeway for making it possible for us to hear!
