Love Letters...

Hey gals! Do we love our sweet sisters Kay, Beth, and Priscilla? YES WE DO! I love the way they challenge us to go Deeper Still in God's Word and make us laugh at the same time! I don't know if you realized...Kay had NO IDEA Beth and Priscilla were going to pull this stunt before the panel discussion!

3 in wheelchairs

The LifeWay Women's Event Team heard your grateful hearts all weekend but there is no way we can pass on all your comments and love. So, we wanted to provide a place where you could post your "love letters" to our three women of God. Let them know they are loved and how much you appreciate their obedience and faithfulness to God.

We love you Kay, Beth, and Priscilla! Thanks for your love and laughter!

I had such a great time at the conference this wk.end. I invited my sister in law along we went along w/ some other women from Clearwater Baptist Church in Athens Tn. One of the other girls invited her sister to come as well. So after the first session on Sat. morning we were leaving instead of just breaking for lunch bec. my 6 yr. old daughter was having her first experience as a flower girl that night. But to our surprise!!!!! We got to my suburban and someone had smashed in one of my windows and stolen my 2 portable dvd players and of all peoples luggage my sister in laws and the other sister that was invited along. Which prob. from our group of ladies from Clearwater needed this conference the most. The devil was well aware of how much we enjoyed our wk. end and was there to try to take us down. Well since we had to wait on the police to come and all that there was no way I was making it back for the wedding so that broke my heart. We decided just to go back into the conference and what a blessing. The weekend was worth the break-in. I had never seen Beth Moore and had only heard of her last yr. at a bible study at church and I hadn't heard of Priscilla either and it was just great! We just had to move that mountain and keep on going. The devil did not prevail!!! Praise the Lord for his protection over us!

What a wonderful weekend the Deeper Still event was! I was able to share this experience with a dear friend and my precious 23-year-old daughter. Thank you so much dear Beth, Kay and Priscilla for your faithful service to our Lord. I love each of you for proclaiming God's Word with conviction and eloquence, and even including humor. The panel discussion was great! I am currently in the studies A Heart Like His, for the second time, and Discerning the Voice of God. It was awesome how session content reinforced my homework for the week. The praise music, including Mandisa's special appearance, made the experience perfect. Beth, I think you praise dance beautifully. All my love to each of you dear women of God. Thank you for the challenge that you placed before us. May God bless you and may He continue to draw you deeper still!

This weekend in Nashville with Kay, Beth and Priscilla was fantastic. Praise God for these ladies and their love for His Word. I have been encouraged to go deeper and have never been as excited and anxious to get started. These ladies have rekindled a fire in me to be all that I can be for our Lord. I love you ladies.

Ladies, you are all well loved and appreciated! Beth, my 4 year old son was VERY upset that he didn't get to come and see "Ms. Beth". He wanted me bring him to see you and he wanted you to sing for him and tell him stories about Jesus like you do for me! It was so precious! I love you, Mama Beth!

What a blessing it was to be at the Nashville Deeper Still Event. My mind is still overflowing with thoughts and relevant truths I tried to digest. There was something for everyone, any age, any stage in life - It was amazing. As I was reflecting on all I heard I wrote each of our teachers names on a paper and listed one word descriptions of each session. If you were there you might want to try this too. One of many things that I noticed was how Priscilla's teaching and encouraging to purposfully choose Jesus - "carry the ark"; really circled back around into Kay's "crossroads". My life was changed as I was encouraged in my relationship with Jesus. What a precious weekend. And then there was the panel discussion at the end - what a scream! My friends and I can't stop laughing about it. Thanks Kay, Beth, and Priscilla! for your transparency and openness - in all areas of your lives. BE BLESSED!

Priscilla, Beth and Kay...thank you from the bottom of my FULL heart for following the call God placed upon you to provide the WORD. It is easy for us to sit back and say, Man, I wish I could be like them but the reality is that we don't get to pick and choose which ministry God calls us to (praise God we don't...we sure would mess things up!!). God has truly annointed the three of you for this specific ministry and I am so thankful I got to experience it. And let's not forget Travis and team and Anthony!!! They all knocked my socks off!!! During one of the worship times, I was so overcome by the Holy Spirit that I could not form words to sing...just hands lifted and tears streaming...sobbing and thanking God for EVERYTHING!!! Blessings to you all!!!

Angela! And all my sweet "sistas" in Washington...I love you gals!

Although Beth and Priscilla teased Kay about tripping her, actually Kay broke her ankle after stepping into a hole while on vacation several weeks ago. It was dark and she went to her car to get her computer...gravel road, pot holes...you get the picture. She is in one of those boot-type casts but the doctors also wanted her to use a wheelchair and stay off the ankle.

Kay taught her two-hour session from the wheelchair but moved around with such ease and grace...it was amazing! Well, except for a few tense moments when I think the front row ladies thought she might wheel on over the edge!

Beth and Priscilla had this wild idea to share in Kay's sufferings or something like that...hence, the wheelchairs, neck brace, sling, and anything else they could find to bandage themselves!

Continue to pray for Kay. She leaves in a few weeks to do ministry outside of the U.S. Although she will not be using the wheelchair by then, she will still have the boot.

Coming to the event in Nashville was the first time I had heard any of the ladies speak. God surely uses them in a mighty way. You feel like they are speaking directly to you. I was very blessed by this experience and felt a change in my heart immediately. I did not realize how far away I had gotten from my relationship with Jesus Christ. My spirit has been renewed and refreshed. I am one of the ones who had bought a ticket the the Curb Center originally and then through my sister-in-law I was able to secure a ticket to the live event. Must have been God's will for me to be there. I have thanked God for the wonderful experience he provided for me through Priscilla, Beth and Kay. Praise God.

wow! what an awesome experience! I have been to several Living Proof converences and once again, I had my socks blessed off! My husband was there with me for the first time. He was a little anxious at first. I left him in line before the doors opened just to go to the book table. He called me on my cell phone 10 minutes later and said "you've got to come back here - these women are nudging me and bumping into me and I don't know what to do." ha! I never even realized that before but I guess we women don't mind getting up close and personal when we are standing in line. anyway, shortly after the event began, he became so involved with the Holy Spirit's interaction he completely forgot that he was in a sea of estrogen. Awesome time!!!

Wow Girls! Each message was so powerful but I have to give a shout out to (Beyonce') Priscilla on my rhema word..:)

I am in a place right now of having experienced a long period of preparation in order to be established in a ministry that I dearly love. God has increasingly given me opportunities over the last 10 years, but a very specific thing is being decided on Wednesday (TOMORROW!) that could very well change my life. My walk with Christ has been deepened whether the answer is yes or no - but God used you to confirm to me if it is 'no' for now, there is no disappointment in the waiting. I don't need a 'yes' from man to give God my everyday obediences. He is Enough!

Beth - it was Deep.:) But a timely word to help me minister to a mother who has been told her precious 6 week baby girl most likely has cancer.

Kay - Your wisdom and zeal are inspiring - and I'm still blushing...:)

Much love,

Lisa

I am still trying to process everything I was taught this past weekend. I got my rhema word to say the least. There were so many special moments that I loved. Priscilla-was so funny and her message was so powerful and spoke to a lot that I am going through as God prepares me to enter a new season with him, a get out of the boat kind of season , to which Beth's message spoke to that. Our callings are beyond us, we won't be able to do it, God will do it thru us!! Kay, she was so funny and her message was amazing and convicting for all of us. You all have such a great sense of humor. I love how you all prayed over each other. You all are such humble servants of God and thank you for teaching us and minsitering to us. Beth, I got to use your phrase last night as I was talking to my friend on the phone. I literally forgot what I was going to say and my friend reminded me, it's too deep. I enjoyed spending my birthday with you all and at the feet of Jesus!!
Love,
Patty

Just wanted to put satan on notice that two blowouts (three hours apart) on one of our buses going back to Tampa will NOT stop the great work God is going to do in and through the lives of the 30 women from FBC, Brandon, FL, who attended Deeper Still Nashville. We arrived home weary at 1:30 a.m. Monday, but all were safe and still glowing from the weekend. Thanks again to Kay, Beth, and Priscilla! We love you guys and your Bible studies!

Thanks Michelle for the 411 update re: the wheelchairs, my curosity was definately getting the best of me on that one!!! Those girls are the funniest things!!! I'm sooooo glad that they continue to show the "wild and crazy" and very humorous side of our God. We DO know how to have FUN in the body of Christ in an appropiate way, don't we!!!!! Living for the Lord is most definately a BLAST!!!! Laughing just makes this life that much easier to get through some times, and I LOVE to LAUGH with God!! I think HE loves to laugh with me too!!

My fellow encourager Lisa (Hisfivefooter) said to pass along a hello and hug in Jesus, so here you go: (((((((((((Michelle & Lisa))))))))))))))), here's one from me too: (((((((((((((Michelle & Angela))))))))))))

Please tell Kay I'll be praying for her continued and complete recovery and to get a flashlight key chain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Angela,

You crack me up with the computer hugs! But I receive them!

Yes let's continue to pray for Kay's ankle to heal and a complete recovery. Let's also pray protection over Kay, Beth, and Priscilla as they continue to communicate God's word around the world.

Also, let's pray for Lisa, the preacher's wife, with a comment on the blog. She says her six week old daughter may have cancer (read posts above).

Lisa, we are joining in prayer with you for your daughter. I am specifically praying that by the power and authority of God's word and His Holy Spirit she will be completely healed in Jesus' Name!

Hi Michelle!

I should clarify - it wasn't my daughter but a friend's who was given this preliminary diagnosis...BUT PRAISE GOD - the mass the oncologist was certain was cancer is NOT. The doctors had begun talking about starting chemo and radiation they were so certain. The mass is nothing but a collection of blood vessels. How does one mistake that for cancer unless God healed it?

Thank you for your prayers...GOD STILL HEALS! :)

Ladies, I just wanted to say that I had an AWESOME weekend.... Thank you for sharing your lives and ministries with us. I, too, was a last minute conference attendee... I signed up on a waiting list from our church, but had actually originally declined the last minute ticket due to some family situations (Hubby is being treated for head and neck cancer.) But God worked out the details and I was able to go.

I especially enjoyed hearing Priscilla for the first time on Friday. God spoke a specific word to me through her session... He even used the exact same phrase from her mouth to answer a remark that my husband had made earlier that day!!!!! It was not a common phrase, either! I knew as soon as she spoke it, it was for me. I also took home some nuggets from Beth and Kay, that I will be chewing on for a while.

The roundtable discussion was absolutely hilarious! It felt so good to laugh!!! I soooo needed that! THANK YOU!

This past weekend was fabolous!!! I got to attend with my mom and sister and we managed to sit on the floor and be within feet of Kay, Beth & Priscilla. This summer I taught my first Bible study at church, Discerning the Voice of God, I loved how Priscilla taught this study and I think so many at our church grew and learned because of it, so it was such a joy to see her in person. My sister and I have done Beth Moore studies for years, she is the reason we started going deeper into our Bible studies and pursuing a deeper relationship with God. We've done so many of her studies that when we saw her, my sister and I had to just fight the urge to run up and hug her, she opens herself up so in her writings that we feel like we know her so well, that is why the answer/question session at the end was so spectacular, it felt as if they could have been in our living room for our Tuesday morning Bible study. Until this weekend I had never heard Kay Arthur or done one of her studies, but I will now, she blew us away. I've never heard anyone who knew the scripture so well. As a precious sister in Christ said at church on Sunday morning, "I learned so much that I will be digesting it all for weeks to come." Thank you so much to Lifeway, to Kay, Beth & Priscilla and all those who go unseen to put on such an event.

I just watched the recap video and wanted to tell you ladies what a joy it was to be under your teaching on Friday and Saturday night. I don't get to go to alot of these conferences but this I know: He brings me to one just at the right time -- when He has a specific Word for me.

Priscilla - I have already told you this in a comment at your site, but I wanted to tell you again what a joy it is to hear your passion for the Word of God. The nut certainly doesn't fall far from the tree as I have listened to your Daddy for many years (this would be Tony, not your husband! :) ) But then again, God's Word is all that and we don't have to have Tony Evans as our Daddy to catch the fire, huh? I have lived in a perpetual state of God Awareness since Friday night due to your challenge.

Beth - Words cannot explain the fresh and specific Word I got from you on Saturday morning. As you prayed at the beginning of your session, I kept telling God over and over that when this conference was done that I wanted to go home and build my house into a home that was everything that God deserved and intended for my family. When the scripture was read about God being the one who wanted to build a house for David (and for us) -- well, it absolutely was the quickest response I have ever gotten from Him. Thank you for being faithful to share that Word!!

Kay - What do I say?? I have never heard you speak in person and I was absolutely won over with your passion for the Word! "My ears had heard, but now my eyes have seen!" Thank you for following that calling in your life and for being transparent with us. We know now that when God calls you, it makes no difference where you have been or what you have done. He saves, He forgives, He calls, He anoints and He empowers! Thank you for your sacrifice to minister to us!! "Grace is previous" -- I'll never forget those words!!!

Ladies - thank you from the bottom of my heart! I left changed and that is, after all, how we want to leave from a conference. If we don't, it's just another "girls night out!" Amen?

Blessings,
Dori

Father God,

I praise You for your Word! Thank you, LORD, for speaking to me and so many of your children through Kay, Beth, and Priscilla. Your Word is everything to me, and I have just been reminded through the "food" over the weekend, that victory apart from You is just not victory. Father, I ask your blessings, your protection, and a continued annointing over these three women and their families. I trust you for those things in the life of my family as well. Lord, let your Word change us from the inside out. Thank you, Jesus, for speaking to me through the lips of your servants.

In Jesus mighty Name,

Amen and Amen!

Priscilla, thanks for sharing about Flash. What a picture that is for me. One of the phrases you stated about David which I will never forget is that he was not perfect, but he was passionate about his God. That really spoke to me. Something I had never realized before was that David did not just assume that he should handle the enemy the same way each time. But he inquired of the Lord and God gave him specific instructions...which David followed exactly. Thanks for bringing that point out. I appreciate all the work you put into this weekend, and your family is very precious. Thanks!

Kay, almost 20 years ago I attended a small church in Mobile where Bob Vereen was the pastor. He and his wife introduced me to your inductive bible studies. There have been so many times in my life that I have remembered and applied the truth of God's word, because I learned it through Precept Ministries. I never dreamed I would be able to listen to your teaching in person. It was truly a blessing. Thank you for teaching us that grace is previous! Thanks for being so transparent about your life...thanks for being real. I went to the conference asking the Lord to answer my question about my place as a wife..."how do I submit?" He answered me in one statement you made during the panel discussion, "If the Lord Jesus was submissive to the Father, you can also be submissive to you husband." You said it with gentleness and confidence. Somehow that put it in perspective for me. I am also aware that I need to look for the crossroads in my life all day long. Over the past 20 years, the Lord has "healed my hurts" and taught me how to KNOW Him through your teaching. THANKS SO MUCH! (Now--what BRAND of lipstick do you use????)

Beth, Thanks for telling us emphatically that we don't need to "tweak" our lives; we need transformation! When you said that the greatest work He will do in us is on the other side of devastation, and that our calling is on the other side of it, I agreed wholeheartedly. That was confirmation of what I have already experienced in my life, and what I continue to walk through. I've been able to encourage others with this truth. He has taken the ashes and made something beautiful, for His glory. Thanks for reminding us that he is trustworthy even when we don't understand! I also wanted to tell you that at LPL in Bossier City, the Lord spoke DIRECTLY TO ME through your mouth about laying down the stone of condemnation that I carried against someone who nearly wrecked my life before Christ. I released the stone, confessed my sin, and found freedom for ministry. Thanks for praying for a RELEASE that weekend. He answered in a mighty way.

In my "Walking by Faith" Bible study last night, one of the questions asked was, "When was the last time you truly felt the presence of God in your life." I answered - "Last weekend while at the Deeper Still conference." It was truly a life-altering experience for me. My life has been in total chaos for the last 6 weeks (well two year, but the last 6 weeks the worst), but you allowed God to speak to me from the first word to the last word.

God has certainly gifted you three godly women with the gift of teaching. May God continue to bless each of you, your families and your ministries to the thousands of women.

BTW...Kay...you can "yell" anytime you want as far as I'm concerned! :)
