Forevermore...
This is my theme for the afternoon. Not that it feels like it is lasting forevermore...that is not what I meant! But the experiences of this afternoon going Deeper Still...praising, praying, hearing, receiving, repenting, refreshing...these are the things I want in my life, in my relationship with Jesus...forevermore!
After a hysterical panel discussion with Kay, Beth, and Priscilla, we took a quick thirty minute break. By the way, thank you for the fantastic panel discussion questions you submitted on the blog. I will fill you in on the ones they answered in another entry this week. There is just no way my fingers typing on this keyboard can keep up with the absorption of truth and information my mind has taken in today!
After the break, Travis sang a solo Forevermore that always brings us to our feet...or to our knees. If that wasn't enough to overwhelm us with the presence and power of God, Trav and the Praise team then sang Mercy Seat while we opened the altar. It always leaves me speechless as the women come forward...kneeling, weeping, and surrendering their hearts and lives to God.
As Beth is concluding this amazing Christian women's conference the crowd is still engaged and going deeper still. You can tell this crowd loves the Word of God and can't seem to get enough!
There are going to be so many God moments to tell you about in the coming weeks as we continue the Deeper Still blog and prepare for Deeper Still: The Event in Las Vegas.
I can't wait for some of you to share your God moments in Atlanta with the rest of us on the blog! I love this photo...yes, of course, it was taken by Rich...like all the rest of these compelling photos! She couldn't wait to share with her friend about the event...so she called her in the middle of praise and worship!
The truths of God we've learned this weekend are meant to be shared with others! So, let's start sharing!
OK sisters, as I travel back to Nashville this evening, I will not be able to check the blog or post until tomorrow. I want you to give me your comments and share your God moments with others! I promise I will post them as soon as I can tomorrow! And I want you to share with us the ways you want your life to be transformed forevermore because you are going deeper still with God and never turning back!

I really loved this conference. It was my first event that was not for business. What a blessing! A friend bought me the ticket and I have truely been blessed! Only having been saved for less than a year, my 4 children have been raised around church, we were great pew warmers, NOW faithfully being raised in church, they need my guidance. MY QUESTION is how do I teach them with a divided household. My husband is not saved, will not go to church, and definitely lives an opposite lifestyle than the rest of us. I mostly rely on our very Bible preaching church because of the conflict this can cause at home. I haven't been told not too, just the sarcasm can defeat any progress I have made. I don't want our faith to become a joke. My oldest is 12, a tough age, the other boys are 9,8,&5. They know more about the Bible than me... I'm working on my knowledge as we speak. I was convicted in the discussions, the Bible teaching is up to me? In this scenario do you have any suggestions? I feel like I am making excuses to shirk responsibility, but this is a true concern.

I was at this weekends' Deeper Still event and was beyond blessed! The worship and the word, the fellowship among my church friends, all of it edified me in mind, spirit and EXHAUSTED body! I was challenged and renewed and sad after Friday that it was already half over. These events, though busy, are worth every moment.

Hey Everybody! A group of 5 ladies including myself flew in from Baton Rouge, LA to attend the highly anticipated Deeper Still conference. We have had this trip planned for 6 months and would like to say that it was everything we expected and more. We were exposed to the truth of God's Word taught and presented by three highly effective teachers. The love of God's Word resignated in their voices as they taught. This conference was the first time we had heard Priscilla and Kay. We were truly blessed by their passion to teach God's Word. The high-light of our trip was our dinner at a local Atlanta restaurant after the conference Saturday night. As we settled down in our booth, Tina, a lady in our group excitedly, and I mean excitedly said "There's Beth Moore". We were seated 1 booth over from Beth and her daughters, Collin and Amanda's best friend. After noticing Beth and her family were through eating Tina and I approached her introducing ourselves. Beth was so extremely wonderful to us. She introduced Amanda and her friend to us. At this time, Melissa and Collin were already gone. We were a little reluctant to intrude with her family time but our excitement got the best of us as we noticed they were finished eating. Tina and I were welcomed by Beth in a warm and exciting way. She is a truly genuine person. She signed my journal and Tina's Breaking Free devotional. We visited for a few moments and made our way back to our table. As Beth left the restaurant, she stood up and waved to us with a big "Texas" wave, and said Thank you for coming! She is a gem! We are blessed to have such a wonderful teacher of God's Word in this generation. I truly adore your teaching and look to you as a mentor as I seek God in my calling to teach. The word studies bless my life as I dig deeper into God's Word studying the original languages.

Good Sunday Morning!
Deeper Still was amazing in all aspects! I can't wait to be in church this morning.
On Friday night, Priscilla went through all the books of the Bible and named God in each book. Is there somewhere I can get that list?
Thanks.

There is simply not enough room here in the comment section (well there might be, but it would be obnoxious), to share all the "God moments" that I had at D.S.
I worshipped more freely than I ever have, I learned, and I heard 3 very powerful words.
One of the most intense things that stand out to me though, is at the end of Kay's time when we were praying. She asked us to pick up our Bibles (I am getting choked up again just typing this)...anyway, she asked us to pick up our Bibles, kiss them and hold them close as it is God's revelation to us, (thus our lifeline) and renew or make a committment to our Father to read it. Soooooo powerful.
I hope that the women who were at Atlanta will hold closely to their hearts their time there and that we can take what we have been commissioned to do and make a difference not only in our own respective spheres of influence, but in our beloved America, as well.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for facilitating an experience with the Lord that I will walk away from, a changed girl.

Deeper Still was a WONDERFUL event! just and amazing time of worship, learning and resting in God's presence.
I have a special request and was hoping you could help through the blog. When Beth had us hold the hand of friend and speak words over her it was a very powerful moment for my friend and I. I wish my memory was rock solid, but I can't put together all that she had us say. I would REALLY like to get it and do something special for my friend with it.... can you help?
Is there anyway you could email or post those words for us?
Thank you so much for all the planning and prep... God really showed up this weekend to meet us!

Whew!!!! What a weekend!!! I have never felt closer to my Lord than now!! Is He not AWESOME!!! As we fellowshipped in bathroom and lunch lines, you could SO sense the Holy Spirit among us!!! Makes me want to get another ticket and fly to Las Vegas!!! What a wonderful blessing to listen to Priscilla, Kay, and Beth!! Three very Godly ladies that taught The Word. If you are even contemplating going to the event in Vegas, go ahead and get those tickets girls, because you will receive such a blessing. Thank you to all those behind the scenes workers that helped pull off such an event!! Not everyone can be on stage and deliver The Word but it takes all of those behind the scenes to make it so great so a BIG THANK YOU!!!!! I don't know you personally, but I love you all!!!! (can you tell I am still so excited from all the exclamation points!!!!) Isn't He just AMAZING!!!
Again, thanks for a WONDERFUL, much needed, weekend in His Word!!!!

Just ONE God moment? The entire event was overwhelming.
I feel as if I've been stuck in the middle of my own Jordan River. Hesitating to go forward, wondering if I should go back. It wasn't one specific moment of teaching or discussion, but the overall idea I came out of the event was - KNOW God. KNOW GOD!
Each of these ladies' read the Truth, study the Truth, apply the Truth and order each of their lives according to the Truth. I've picked up my rock from the center of the Jordan, put it on my shoulder and set it down in my promised land in remembrance of what MY God has done FOR and WITH me! Thank you, ladies!
BTW...is there anyway to post the opening video that was shown on Friday night? I would love to see it again! It was sweet!

Wow! I have never been to the Deeper Still blog before...but I just returned from Atlanta a few hours ago and have been updating my own blog with a few pictures myself. :) I found this blog in a google search for deeper still.
This past weekend was phenomenal! I am soooooo blessed to have been able to attend!

I was with a group of four ladies from Gilgal Baptist Church in Duncanville,AL. We were completely blessed by Kay, Beth and Priscilla as well as Travis and the Praise Team and the beautiful Mandisa. God showed up in a mighty way in Phillps Arena. We literally didnt want to leave!!
I would also like the words that Beth had us pray over each other at the end of her session. The girls and I would like to have it to pray over each other regularly.
One of the neatest things to me was during praise and worship when all you could hear was 19,000 voices in unison just praising The Almighty God.
Thanks for the memories and the uplifting!!

Ever since I got home last night from the conference, I haven't been able to stop talking about it. I sat my husband on the couch and just poured into him everything that had been poured into me (probably not as eloquently as Priscilla, Kay and Beth, but I tried). I really can't explain all that God showed me this weekend. It was probably 24 of the most powerful hours of my life spiritually. It was so much more than I could have hoped for and I am so thanful that I was able to go!
I too would love to have the list of God's names from each book of the Bible that Priscilla read and a copy of what Beth had us say to each other! I want both framed in my house so that I will always remember to go Deeper Still!!

I travelled from Ozark, Alabama with my mother and two other ladies from our church. We were deeply touched by all three of the ladies who spoke. Ms. Kay Arthur is such an elegant, humble teacher to women. We were totally blessed by her deep love for the Lord and her concern for our nation. I have taken many of her Precept Bible Studies through the years, but my mom was not familiar with her. She was really blessed by her teaching, as were the two younger women who were with us. Priscilla Shirer has been blessed with a special gift. She is so down to earth, and her way of relating her every day life (i.e. the pancake and the tooth fairy stories) to God's principles is fantastic! Beth was awesome! She has such energy!!!! She is so funny, and her love of people and her Lord just shines through. We were also blessed by Travis Cottrell and the Praise Team, the artist, and of course, Mandisa!!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!!! I look forward to going to more conferences in the future.

This was my first time hearing Kay and Priscilla and I was blown away! I loved them and it is obvious they are all 3 beautiful children of God who want nothing more than to serve Him. I would like to have a copy of Priscilla's list naming Who God is in each book of the Bible. Can you tell me where to get this? Also the opening video on Friday night -- I would love to have a copy of the words from this video? Can you help with this too?
Thanks so much for everything you've done to help with this event!

Peace and Grace to all the blessed women who attended the Deeper Still Event and who are returning to be blessed more by the blog comments.
I am so grateful I belong to a mighty God that did send me a divine invitation to see him. Pricilla’s first message was so what I needed to hear. I will not go through all the small consequential details of how my Lord had me in the wilderness, yet still brought me to this event. My attending this conference was not even my own idea—it was God’s. You see, I have been in a deep pit for some time now. I am attending church and in fact, I am serving as a teacher. However, I have just been going through the motions using my own will and strength--- knowing that I could not keep up a charade on my own. Thank you God!! Moreover, thank you Pricilla, Kay and Beth for being the instruments he used to send his message to me!! Thank you, Michelle for this site. Isn’t he an awesome God?
NOW, this is for ANNA JONES and all the others that undoubtedly also want to have a copy of the powerful piece that Pricilla recited about God/Jesus in each in every book of the Bible. I’m a tireless Google surfing researcher and I found the following on two different sites--(not sure if this is exact words as she recited):

The weekend was exactly what I needed for my week, confused, broken and very thirsty soul......
I grew up in a very strict legalistic church that was very much bordering on a cult. Until a few years ago I had always belonged that organization. I worshipped and lived for God out of fear and legalism. I have had "shackles" of guilt over leaving and it was overwhelming me almost to the point of giving up completely. After years of really living for God and being probably one of the most moral persons on earth (out of fear maybe) I now find myself a "new convert" of sorts having to really learn about Christ and his love for me. After this weekend, I now feel like I truely know him for the fist time in my life. The "shackles" of legalism were broken from me and I felt so free. It was a beautiful feeling to just worship and love on him because I truly loved him and not out of fear and someone standing over me beating me over the head. I am looking forward to completely breaking free of all of the fear and doubt and just mature further in him and to be a vessel for others coming out of the same situation.

Wow, despite our flight being cancelled and being on standby the whole day to get home, my friend and I relished having more time together to reflect on how inspiring the whole weekend was because of Deeper Still. Each of the messages by the three women so closely complimented the "No Other Gods" study we are doing by Kelly Minter. God wants to be My One and Only, and I felt the true challenge to seek God for myself. I have a fresh resolve to wait it out in the wilderness knowing that God is in control, His timing is perfect, and no false idol can ever satisfy like He can and will!
I second the requests for Priscilla's recount of the names for God that correspond to each book of the Bible and the blessing Beth had us speak over our friend at the end. They were both so meaningful that I'd love to meditate on them further.
Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow!
What a blessing Deeper Still was!

I am one of the eight mothers who have lost babies in the last year who met face to face for the first time in Atlanta this weekend. As we worshiped our Lord together on the very day on the calendar - June 28 - that marks the day my baby girl went to Heaven last year, boldly wearing our beloved brown t-shirts with little pink and blue names down the back, we each praised God from a place in our soul deeper than I think we had ever known. There are simply no words to describe how awesome God was this weekend at Deeper Still: The Event. No words.

My daughter and daughter in law were with me this weekend at this wonderful event.
On Friday right before the event started my daughter told me that she was 8 weeks pregnant but at her Dr's appt. the ultrasound showed the baby was only at 6 weeks and there wasn't much amniotic fluid. She is giong back on Tuesday for another ultrasound and to decide what to do.
This happened to her last year during Thanksgiving week and I just don't know how she's going to get through this so soon after.
I haven't given up yet. I've been praying for a mistake by the doctor or a miracle by God. Right now either one would be the best thing ever!
Please pray with me. I know it has to be God's will and I know he's not "doing" this to her but I can't imagine how she is feeling as I am having such a hard time watching my child lose yet another child.

I'm SO thankful for the Deeper Still Event! I recently moved VERY far from home with my husband & two little boys for a good job for my husband. I had been overwhelmed with loneliness & even upset with God for "drafting" us to a new place so far from the ones we love. When Priscilla spoke of a wilderness that sometimes God takes us through, I felt as if she was speaking straight to me & God was speaking to my heart. Thank you Jesus for the encouraging word!
Kay and Beth were phenomenal! Thank you ladies for speaking the truth that God laid on your hearts! Our small group was challenged! We have been changed by the event and the truth that was spoken!

My sister and I attended this past weekend along with some other ladies from my church. At one point during the Saturday morning worship, as we were all standing and singing His praises, I was moved to stop. I looked around the whole arena from where I sat high above much of the crowd . . . and I saw thousands of hands reaching up, and I heard all of the voices in perfect sync and it sounded like a choir, . . . at that point it was just the voices, as the instruments were silent . . . and the voices were as one . . . and I realized that this is what it means to be a part of the Body of Christ, this is the closest I will ever be while I am here on earth to glimpsing what heaven will be like when we are finally all together and worshiping Him. I will never be the same.

What a wonderful weekend. God showed up and poured out a blessing that was beyond measure. It was amazing to be a part of 19,000 women praising the Lord and hungry for a word from Him and He delivered in a mighty way.
The Praise Team was awesome and the messages from Beth, Kay, and Priscilla were what we all need to hear. Now my challenge will be to put what I learned into practice.
I'd love to have the words to Mercy Seat or at least where this may be recorded so that I can pass that on to our worship leader. What a powerful song.

Amazing! Awesome! Our God IS omnipotent and omnipresent!! I had a heavy burden for a friend coming with me this weekend and I was so tempted to write Beth and beg her to please teach on the subject my friend so desperately needed to hear ! I heard God telling me to pray instead , to intercede for my friend so I did along with four other prayer warriors. God answered that prayer!!! Amazingly !! Out of the mouth of Priscilla, Kay, Beth ,Mandisa and the music selections from Travis ---ALL spoke to my friend !!! Even one question she had asked before the session with Kay was answered ! Kay was speaking and then as an afterthought , she said one sentence directly answering my friend and then continued with her present subject ! I always get my "word" at these events and true to form I received it !! Thank you for being God's mouthpiece!!

Deeper Still has changed my life FOREVER! Three co-workers and I attended this weekend in Atlanta, and there are no words to express the fire that was lit in our hearts to seek the Lord, to learn and share his word, to worship & praise Him!! I could go on and on. Beth, Kay & Priscilla are such beautiful speakers, and their spiritual beauty is mesmerizing. As the Holy Spirit moved throughout the crowd, it was almost audible. I came home & my husband had to tell me to "take a breath", as I recounted the whole experience with WAY MORE enthusiasm than he had seen in awhile. I was physically and emotionally drained but my friends and I are new women because of this conference. I grew up "playing" church, but the anointing of these messages has opened my heart & my eyes to the power of the cross, and our AWESOME GOD in a whole new way....raw, exposing/revealing, and POWERFUL!! We all agreed that we wished our husbands could have joined us....will there ever be an event such as this for couples? Not a "marriage" retreat or seminar, one JUST LIKE "DEEPER STILL"? Thanks to everyone for their hard work, the beautiful music, and the fellowship. I can't wait to go Deeper Still!!! Much love, to God's "Charlie's Angels"!!!!

I was at the conference this weekend. I was tired Friday and I didn't really want to go. But the Lord told me to go. I went alone and sat on the last row at the top of the tallest section. For me, it began with the introduction and the Lord kept on speaking to me throughout the evening. Priscilla, I love you! I saw you but heard Jesus voice coming out of your mouth. I couldn't stop the tears. Everything that came out of your mouth was for me. Everything. I was so stunned at the power of the Lord. I loved the whole weekend, but Priscilla, for me while you spoke the Lord anointed mewith wave after wave of wisdom and encouragement and acknowledgement that he knows everything about me and has it all under control.
ANd thank you Kay and Beth for your honesty and humor and faithfulness to the Lord Jesus. I love you too.

The trip to Atlanta to be part of Deeper Still is still fresh on me. The Truth that was spoken through 3 beautiful women of God was powerful. From the beginning to the last word spoken, you can see how God orchestrated His Truth. And, the verse that Beth taught from and had us learn was more than a lesson, it was the summary of the conference. The word became flesh and DID dwell among us. Oh my, I am changed and will pray to be in His glory to do what God wants me to do. Thank you for being obedient so others become more like Christ and less like ourselves. Thank you all for the sacrifice to serve. I appreciated every smile and pleasant word...even the boxed lunch line...haha! Everything was covered by the Holy Spirit!

Praise God for these women that know the word of God! Deeper Still: Atlanta was one of the most moving experiences of my life! I am not sure if I laughed or cried more :0 I sat between to dear friends and praised God with 19,000 other sisters!
On the way in the doors on Friday night, I received a call from home that a dear saint in our church had passed away. My heart was overflowing with sadness, and the tears streamed down my face. Then, they opened up with come thou fount! All I could do was rejoice that my dear friend was rejoicing with our amazing, holy, faithful, loving GOD. I can't wait to see him again.
Thank you Lord for renewing my desire to know you deeper still!

The conference was AWESOME AND POWERFUL! All 3 speakers were awesome, but I especially enjoyed Kay Arthur. She said what no one else would or is standing and saying. I totally agreed with her speach about "Finding Truth in America" and that we need to start praying for our Nation. My parents and I have had great discussions on that very topic this summer. So when are you running for President Kay!?! You would already have 18,992 votes from the conference. :-)
Since returning home I have had 3 people ask me where they could get a copy of her speech via DVD and/or the notes. If ANYONE HAS THE ANSWER TO THAT,PLEASE EMAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW (3awestberry@comcast.net)! I have personally sent out an email to try to influence friends, colleages, and family to do just that - PRAY! If we don't, we can't complain if nothing changes. God hear those who cry out to Him.
Priscilla also spoke to the hearts of many who traveled with our group. We talked about her speech for the entire 2 hour ride home. We had all be in the wilderness over the last few years. Some had been through it and some were going through it (the wilderness). It was awesome to hear how God had or is working in people's lives through the wilderness seasons in their lives.
Beth, I LOVED the hand motions to your scripture memory!!! I teach preschool and plan to try to do that each week. I teach at a Christian school where we teach Biblical World Views and Scripture memory every day. I think it is so important to write the Word of God on your heart even at the age of 4 and 5. Sometimes the little ones can preach right to my heart in a way no adult can. Thanks for showing me a new way to learn and teach scripture!!!
You gals were awesome! Keep up your work in Christ!

FYI- if you have gone through Priscilla's Bible study "Discerning the Voice of God", she goes over the same list on the video's. I can slow it down and write out the list if needed:) Let me know if you can't get it from her website.

For those of you that prayed for my daughter and her unborn child......everything is fine and she is due Feb. 14th!!!!! The Dr. said she didn't know what happened, she couldn't explain it and had never seen anything like this before! Of course we know what happened....God placed His loving hand on that child and it's mother and took care of business!
Thank you to all that prayed for us and please continue to keep them in your prayers that we get a healthy baby & mama come February!!!

Dear Momof4: I was so touched by your message! I recently surrendered my life to Christ again just during Easter time. Christ set me free from bondage I was holding on to for many years. I am a changed women! It is hard for loved ones around me, to accept what has happened, and they have challenged me on what has happened, and doubt what the Good Lord is doing in my life. For them, to believe what has happened to me, is to also believe that God really wants to heal us, and it's too close to the truth, which so many of us spend so much of our life doing exactly that...hide, from God, and anyone else who speaks the truth.
You see the enemy has a lot at stake here, every time he looses his foothold on Christ's children, the enemy gets mad, and works that much harder to attack us.John Eldridge's book "Waking the Dead," describes the enemy and His plans, and one of the ways he talks to us is like this: He takes a need we have that is not filled, coupled with a doubt that God will not come through for us, and create an innappropriate desire in which we can choose or resist!
As you immerse yourself with God's truth, it will make those around you uncomfortable, as it does the enemy, he wants to "steal, kill, and destroy"as it says in the bible. Listen Mom of 4, if there is a Believing God Bible Study by Beth Moore, please do attend, or maybe you can lead it. It will strengthen your walk with Christ! The best way to teach your children about Christ and your husband, is to model the Christian values you learn in how you treat and interact with them. The phrase...actions speak louder then words really matter in this situation.
Love your husband more, pray for him, and ask God to unite your hearts, and to put a desire in his heart for God, like God did for you! Be the love to your husband, that God is for you! The enemy will use your relationship to divide you, but God will use your relationship for HIS Glory! Have the body of Christ, your church friends/mentors pray over you, and lift you up, as you strengthen your relationship with Christ! I pray that your husband will see God's love in you and your children and draw him closer towards God and you, and when that happens, God's desires will become his desires. Look for resources by Beth Moore, John and Staci Eldridge, Vicki Courtney and Dr. James Dobson (teen agers & children) for books that speak to the season you are in, to help you dive into God's word, and what He is trying to speak to you. God desires to have an ongoing relationship with you, renouce any plans the enemy may have to spoil your relationship with your husband, he will come around, don't give up on him, press on in Christ, and your road will be made straight! God Bless you momof4!

Loved the teaching, was disappointed by the Panel. Most of the questions were trivial. I really wanted to hear Beth Moore speak and had to miss it in order to return home and serve the following morning at my home church. I wish the panel discussion had been left to the end, then those of us who had to keep commitments to our families and churches could have enjoyed the important teaching from the final session.

The event was awesome! God really showed up!!! Sadly, my friend and I had to leave early and missed Beth's teaching! We thought we would get to hear everyone since last year the panel was at the end... we enjoyed the panel but hate we missed the final teaching...Anyway, can anyone tell me if the lessons they taught will be posted anywhere to listen to again? I would love to hear the messages from Priscilla and Kay again and get to listen to the one we missed by Beth!
Thanks!!!
