Sharing Beauty Info is a MUST!
As my friend (and Deeper Still Event Coordinator) Betsy says, "Well, it doesn't take but about 5 minutes to turn a conversation up here (LifeWay Women's Events office) to make-up, hair or fashion!"
Betsy recently forwarded an email from her daughter Julie to all of us about a new hair product. This is the "reader's digest version" of the email.
"Girls! I have found us a new hair product. It's called 'Let's Jam!' a shining and conditioning gel that promises to be pure fun as you style." Yes, that is what Julie said it actually stated on the container! Well, LET'S JAM is what I say! Who doesn't want pure fun as we style in the mornings!
As I read the comments from yesterday's blog I had to laugh out loud! It was so awesome to see not only deep theological questions submitted for the Deeper Still Panel Discussion in Atlanta, but also the fun "give us some make-up, hair and fashion tips!" I loved the one asking the ladies how much sleep they get!
So, as you continue submitting your panel discussion questions, I think sharing beauty info is a MUST! I mean really look at them! These women are beautiful!

What questions do we want to ask our girls Kay Arthur, Beth Moore, and Priscilla Shirer? All three look fantastic in real life--their photos are not extreme makeover photos. They really do look that good! I'm sure we can get some great tips out of them during the panel discussion!
Keep the panel discussion questions coming! We want all kinds of questions! To quote our new hair product label from Julie, this panel discussion time "promises to be pure fun!" LET'S JAM on the panel discussion questions!

Ok. . it's hilarious to me that some of you are just discovering "Let's Jam" hair gel. Folks in the African American community have been using that stuff FOREVER.
I guess all of our hair likes some of the same stuff, huh?! Who'd of ever thunk it. . . !

This one is for all the ladies. How do you solve the problem of Bible Study drop outs. We start out with so many women. But they don't all stay with it. If they only realized just what they were missing. I can't stand not being in a bible study. Thank you Beth for providing one this summer on line.

For years I have been attending conferences and have had a burning passion to speak and teach and do what the ladies do at these conferences. I have been praying for God to annoint me with His words and offered Him my mouth and my body to do so. I fantasize and plan conferences of my own all the time. I can't stop! It won't die and I have no outlet. What do I do?

Priscilla,
I just returned from The Deeper Still Event in Atlanta which was absolutely fabulous in every way it could possibly be. I looked at my friend on the way home to Kentucky this afternoon and said "I feel like I have been on the mountaintop with God this weekend, is my face glowing like Moses' did in the movie?"
I have a question about something you said on Friday night, you gave God's name for every chapter in the Bible. Where can I get that information? Would you mind sharing?
Thank you and thank you for being such a blessing to MANY women this weekend!

You are right, Michelle, I do have more questions!:)
How in the world does Beth make her hair soo big and it stays that way???
Kay and Beth, how do you age so gracefully-Lord help! I want to age that gracefully!:)
Priscilla, how's things "developing" with the pregnancy?
Love always,
Katie
