Something New!
Aren't we always looking for something new? Something that will give us a fresh look...new clothes, new shoes, new hairstyle, or maybe a new attitude! The same is true for Deeper Still: The Event!
We want God to bring a fresh word through Beth, Kay, and Priscilla. And we want your worship experience as Travis and the Praise team lead us to be fresh and alive in Christ. So, you need to know we have some new things planned for Deeper Still in Atlanta!
One BIG thing you need to look for when you arrive Friday evening are four HUGE boards set in different places on the concourse. Remember when you were growing up and got in trouble if you wrote or colored on the walls? Well, throw those rules out! WE WANT YOU TO WRITE ON THESE FOUR BOARDS! Does that sound fun or what!
"What am I supposed to write on these boards?" you may be asking. Well, ask yourself these questions:
What do I hope God will do in my life through this Christian women's event?
What are my dreams as I go deeper still with God?
What is one thing I need to release to God this weekend?
We want these "story" boards to reflect and record a small portion of your story and how you hope and pray your story becomes HIS Story at Deeper Still: The Event.
So, as you reflect on the questions above, what will you write? What is the SOMETHING NEW you are hoping and praying to happen at Deeper Still: The Event in Atlanta?

That I would never leave His side no matter what the world would have me live my life for-such distractions and bad mental states-complacency is not good!

I hope that during this event God will draw me into a place with Him that I have never known...where I can focus even in the midst of chaos...a place inside me where the Holy Spirit will consume me in spite of circumstances.
As I grow deeper still with God, I dream that He will annoint me to speak Truth with boldness and power. I love public speaking and I love to tell others about my King. I have had a burning passion for ministry to women for almost 2 decades now. I dream of writing books, studies, and building a rehabilitation center for women who are fleeing from domestic violence. I want to reach out and give these women the "hope for a future" that Christ gave to me 8 years ago...the night before I attended a Living Proof Conference where God confirmed His call to me.
I want to release to God anything that will hinder me from accomplishing His will. I especially would like to release a relationship to Him that I am having difficulty letting go of.

Michelle - Thanks for doing such a beautiful job of explaining the story boards. I know that women are going to want to be a part of this "hands on" way of reflecting on all that God is doing in our hearts at Deeper Still. I can't wait!!!!
