how fun! i actually saw a pair of my shoes...high five for target!

Sadly, my computer won't play the visual for this! I've been having trouble with that! However, ya'll should be blessed to know that I found some cute, yet comfortable shoes for Deeper Still! The outfits... well, I am still contemplating my options:)

I am so excited about the Deeper Still Conf and am in desperate need of a weekend completly focused on going deeper with the Lord. I love and respect Kay Arther and Beth Moore and know I will equally love Priscilla. I do not want to be negative or a complainer, but when I look at this blog it adds to my stress. We are missionaries with the IMB and are home on unexpected medical leave, due to some recent developments wth our son. The Conf could not have come at a better time. I am very worried about our little boy and the future...everything we own is in Russia...our job, our home, our friends, ministry and all of our "stuff". In the states, we have been living with family and other than a few clothes and a few books, we own nothing here. So, I am struggling with all the emphasis on apprearence. I can not afford new outfits or even a pedicure, but so long to just sit at the feet of the Lord...even if it is in my sweats with holy socks and ugly toes. :-) Please forgive me and do not take offense to my comment. I long to look cute at the conf, but have so many other concerns and needs, I hope that I don't even think twice about how I compare to others while I am there. Thank you so much for all you have done to make this weekend possible! I do appreciate each of you!

Don't be stressed at all! We are just joking around...if you noticed in the video of shoes there are tennis shoes, old flip flops, heels--like the women who attend the events, EVERYONE IS WELCOME AND ACCEPTED. Please ladies...come as you are!

And Kristie we will add you, your son and family to our prayer list. I cannot imagine the stress this has brought to your family. I've been to Ukraine twice, which I know doesn't even compare to you living in Russia full-time. I imagine Atlanta and a women's event will seem like a new culture to many of the women attending.

I love that no matter where we are from, regardless of the culture, race, church background, denomination, or what we wear--we are all coming to Atlanta to go deeper still with our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ! Praying He knits our hearts together in unity and we worship Him in Spirit and in Truth!
