Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed
How many of you are getting ready to promote or start your Women's Bible Studies for the Fall? We've had several questions on the blog related to Bible Studies and tons of you wanting to know more about the Deeper Still Nashville taping and the Bible study created from that event.
Our sister, Deanne, specifically wanted to know more about this Bible study for a group of young women she leads. So, Deanne, I hope this info helps answer your questions and the questions of many others!
Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed: A Study of David is seven sessions and was taped at the 2007 Deeper Still Event in Nashville. The first session is an intro session. The following six sessions explore the life of David in three segments. Priscilla Shirer focuses on David as a young man, Beth Moore examines David in middle-age, and Kay Arthur looks at the final third of David's life.
Each DVD Bible study session is approximately one hour. The Bible study books include daily homework that builds on the DVD teaching sessions. It is a similar format to other Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, or LifeWay women's Bible Studies you may have completed. (Intro session, do daily homework during the week, then meet for DVD teaching session--you know the plan!)
You can use the seven Bible study sessions as a retreat, women's Bible study, or on your own.
Click here to see the online LifeWay catalog about Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed: A Study of David and watch previews of all three amazing Bible study teachers!
The release date for Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed: A Study of David is September 1st...so it won't be long now! And great news for all our Las Vegas sisters...the LifeWay Bookstore at Deeper Still: The Event in Las Vegas will have this new Bible study DVD kit and Bible study workbooks available for sale!
So, that is one option to kick off your Fall Women's Bible studies! What other Bible studies will you or your church be leading this fall season?

I have been checking and waiting for this Bible Study to be available in hopes that our ladies Bible Study would be able to do this one in the fall. I wonder how easily available they will be and if there is a chance of a shortage. I certainly look forward to planning this one.

Hey Michelle! By any chance have you heard anything about obtaining Beth Moore's closing prayer at Deeper Still the Event: Atlanta? It would mean so much if I'm able to get a copy of it for my friend. Thank you so much!
Blessings!!!

Miranda--I think we may get approval to post it after the Las Vegas Deeper Still. I don't have it yet...so I think Beth may use it in full or in part at DS Las Vegas. We don't want to give away anything or hinder the Deeper Still experience for our Las Vegas sisters before Sept. 5-6!!!

Hey Renee! I believe you can order the Bible study online now and it should be in LifeWay Bookstores on the September 1st release date. I can't wait to do this Bible study--you can watch the small video clips in the promo piece and sense the power and presence of the Holy Spirit upon all three Bible teachers. Nashville Deeper Still was an amazing event and the Bible Study is equally amazing! Can't wait to see how God uses this Bible study on the life of David to take women deeper still without even attending a DS event!!! Blessings upon you and your Bible study group this fall!

I am anxiously awaiting the release of this new Bible study from last year's Deeper Still. I thought I was going to be able to attend this year's DS event, but was so disappointed when plans fell through. Then I saw this study and was so EXCITED! This fall, our group will be doing Priscilla's new study, Can We Talk? We have LOVED all of her earlier studies. Very relevant!

We are doing The Beloved Disciple ~ The Life and Ministry of John by sweet Beth. We can't wait to start next month. We also can't wait until you all are here for the conference!!! Thank you so much for coming out here. Believe it or not, there are a lot of people who refuse to step foot in "Sin City". I think Jesus would have, and as a matter of fact, I believe he is here.

Hi Linda,
What an honor for us to come to Las Vegas! We truly want to encourage the women like you who faithfully serve God in the midst of huge obstacles and struggles in a city like Las Vegas. So excitied to hear you are doing The Beloved Disciple this fall--what a great study! I continue to be inspired by John in God's word and his desire for believers to know they are loved by Jesus and are to love others beyond their own ability through the power of the Holy Spirit. Praying many people you know and meet in Las Vegas will know you are a Christian by your love, God's love working in and through you!

I am looking for a Bible study to teach to mostly senior adults. I have done Jennifer rothchild, Phrisllia Shirer and Beth Moore studies. Anyone have any suggestions?

Nancy,
I asked our Lead Women's Ministry Specialist at LifeWay, Chris Adams, what she would recommend to you and your Bible study group of mostly senior adults. This is what Chris shared:
What about Life Lessons from Women in the Bible? That one is really timeless. Or The Virtuous Woman or Attending the Bride. They might do "A Trusted Friend When It Matters Most," so they can help hurting friends.
Also, Anne Graham Lotz--"Vision of His Glory" and "God's Story."
Also, if they have done all those studies and the women are growing, are they re-investing what they are learning in the younger women? Just a thought!
