Sidetracked!

Tuesday July 31, 2007   ~   4 Comments

Ugh.

On the way to the NAMB State Summer Leadership Meeting, I blew a tire and missed my flight.

Tonight is at an Indy hotel then of to the Atlanta meeting in the morning... in time for my sessions.

I was going to say that it was the predetermined will of God that I had a flat tire, but since I am visiting with the Wesleyans I will just say that God had foreknowledge of it.

;-)

Dear Ed,
We do believe that providentially God knew this would happen, but He has given you the free will to respond in a sanctified manner.

Dr. Ed,
We do believe that God in His providence allowed your flat tire so that the testing of your faith, could help you to progress in your sanctification. Of course your free will to choose will be a factor no doubt.

Glenn,

Amen on the testing of my faith.

But, thanks to God's providential placement of an early morning flight, I am on my way.

Now if we can just work on that whole sanctification thing. Grin.

See you back in class tomorrow.

Ed

yes...but was it simple cognitive awareness or was His foreknowledge rooted in love?
