Essential Meetings with Very Important People

Yep, there is a reason I am behind in my emails and my work. (Friday is for Friends will probably be Monday, for example). But, I am still catching up. You see, I had some meetings with VERY important people last week... and things got a little crazy.

Apparently no one else wanted to ride the Stetzer train!

Important meeting, indeed.

I quote Alex McManus speaking at The Origins Experience back in 2004:

"Non-negotiable: if in fifteen years, my kids have left the church, but I love it, I have failed. On the other hand, if they are still a vital part of the church, but I hate it, I've succeeded."

Plus, you score extra points for going to see the Mouse. Did you get to ride Expedition Everest?!

Because we stayed late (till midnight, if I recall), we road Everest 4 times. Ugh.

No lines can be fun... but can also wear you out!

Thanks for sharing that photo Ed. makes you almost... human. ;) Seriously, it's great seeing a photo of you with your kids.

Looks like one of the most important meetings you can have on your calendar. From the looks of the empty seats must have been a private meeting too.

Ray Smith:

If we can get the mayor to build a ride like this in Tulsa, will you come back more often?

Joe,

As you know. I hesitate to put pictures of my family on-line. But, since these were from a distance, I went for it this time.

Ray,

Great to hear from you. I hope things are settling down a bit at ORU. I will be in Tulsa this Fall so maybe I will look for that ride!

Mike,

It almost was! They closed the park at 7pm for. Pirate and Princess Party till midnight.

I have never seen the rides so empty.

Ed

Now, there's a meeting that ought to happen. May the Lord increase your opportunities with them.
