"If" Recordable Storybook (GIVEAWAY!)

Flowerpot Press’ Record-A-Story series lets your child enjoy a book read by a loved one who lives far away or is stationed overseas. The newest title in the series, by Frank Boylan, is called If. Simple buttons allow the reader to record the text of each page. To hear the story read aloud later, the child simply pushes the button that corresponds to the page number. Sentimental moments will happen when your child hears, “If I was there I would tell you I love you,” or “If I was there I would hug you, or laugh with you, or play games with you.”
If captures the spirit and voice of the very people who would most like to sit side by side and read a favorite book but are instead on two different sides of town or in different corners of the world. This is the perfect original story for grandparents who live far away, parents who travel on business frequently, aunts and uncles who live across the country, godparents who don’t get to see little ones often enough, or military parents serving their country. The fun format and touching story makes an amazing gift.
We have THREE copies of If to give away! Just answer this question in the comments: who would you give the book to if you won?
Winners will be chosen by random December 2, 2011. USA only. LifeWay empoyees are not eligible to win.

I would give it to my son. I would ask my parents to read it to him. After many years of trying thru the miracle of IVF God has blessed us with a precious baby boy to spend our holidays with this year

My daughter will be four in February. She loves her GG Velma, my mom's mom. Unfortunately GG's eyesight is going but she loves to read. (She will be turning ninety next July!) I would love to add GG's voice to a Record-a-Story book for Elianna keepsakes from her GG. One of the most favorite pictures that I have is one of GG and my daughter Elianna reading together on the couch. This book would be something she could cherish her whole life, especially when GG finally goes to be with Jesus. We only get to see her once a year since traveling across the U.S is hard even for a tough 89-year-old! Thanks for considering us. God bless!

I would give it to my daughter. And when she learns to read, I'd record her voice on there so that when she gets older... she'll have her own voice recorded from when she first started reading! :)

I would give this book to my daughter, Evie, and have my husband read it to her. He is in the US Marine Corps and has missed quite a bit of her three years already, and I know, unfortunately, that he will miss more. Books like this are precious keepsakes from Daddy!

I love these books! I've always wanted to give one to all three of my kids, but after winning, I would give it to my middle child. We've just started our own retail store and are often working very long and late hours. After having her mommy at home with her all of the time, my little 5-year-old is taking it harder than her older and younger siblings.
Good luck to everyone!
