December Giveaways: Double the Prizes, Double the Fun!

--Comments (10)

For December, we have TWO great products to give away. Woo hoo! Not to mention we'll be announcing the winners of the If Recordable Storybook today!

pennylove.jpgPenny Love is the story of a grandmother who uses a penny on the ground as an object lesson for her granddaughter. She tells the girl that everytime she finds a penny, she can remember her grandmother loves her. One Amazon reviewer predicts it could be the next "Love You Forever" — a timeless book that treasures relationships.

We have five copies of Penny Love to give away to our readers!

YP635-948.jpgIn our December issue, we recommended the YakPak Deluxe DJ bag. Unfortunately, that bag is out of stock right now; but we're glad to offer another wonderful YakPak bag, the Student Backpack, instead.

Is your kid's backpack already beat up from one semester of use? The traditional backpack gets the job done while keeping you looking good. One winner will receive a YakPack Student Backpack in their choice of available pattern. They have everything from camo to leopard print to music notes!

To enter both giveaways, just leave a comment telling us what your Christmas plans are this year. Will you travel? Celebrate in January? Bake cookies while tap-dancing to Jingle Bells? We want to know!

Winners will be selected by random December 30, 2011. USA only. LifeWay employees are not eligible to win.

Amy Hallagin:

We are military and stationed halfway across the United States from family who is in Oklahoma, so we will be staying in Alabama this year -- just our family of 5 and our church family. Looking forward to celebrating CHRISTmas with our friends & church family!

Merrill R:

My sister and I take turns hosting the family dinner and it's my turn this year.

Tricia Gray:

We will be having Christmas with our extended family on the 17th and then with my parents on the 18th. Then we will get spend Christmas Eve and Day at home and we will be able to attend service at our church. Also, we have this countdown to Christmas book and are doing that. Each day it has a prayer, bible verse, a story, and on some days has a craft for us to do. Love it!

Jennifer Govea:

My husband and our two year old (now three year old) moved to Costa Rica in August as missionaries. We hoped to go home to Atlanta, GA for Christmas, but will be staying here. We didn't bring any Christmas decorations with us when we moved and we haven't bought a tree or anything Christmas-y yet. I do know that I'll continue baking cinnamon rolls though!

Jamie Sprague:

We recently moved to be closer to family, so it will be nice to celebrate CHRISTmas with our enitre family instead of piecemilling through mail and infrequent visits. We will also be making cookies together as a family and sharing with friends. As always, we remember the reason for the season -JESUS- and share that message with others!

Jamie mullen:

My wife and I will be wearing our pajamas all and eating breakfast for supper.

Sallie E.:

We usually do most of our big celebrating the weekend before Christmas with all the extended family. This is nice because it leaves Christmas Day to just our little family of three. The first gift we open on Christmas morning is the baby Jesus to go in the empty manger of our nativity scene. This and reading from Luke 2 sets the tone and helps us focus on the important things about Christmas.

Lisa Roper:

This will be the first year we will not be home for CHRISTmas. We will be heading to Florida to spend CHRISTmas in Disney World. But we will have family over at our house to exchange gifts and spend time with each other before our trip.

S. Cottingham:

We all spend the night at Mom & Dad's and get up early for breakfast and Christmas socks and The Christmas story. We open packages then everyone goes to other families the rest of the day.

We had Christmas at Disney when I was a junior in college. I love the winter wonderland village where it's snowing! Unfortunately it was POURING rain so they canceled the Christmas Eve service at Epcot that year. I was SOOOO bummed. I hope you get to go!
