Heading out to Nashville
Melanie - September 30, 2008
I'm leaving on an 11:15 flight to Nashville today and, as of this moment, this is what my bedroom looks like.

Please don't pay attention to that ugly blue and white comforter. I didn't make my bed.
Also, it might help if I actually put some of those clothes in a suitcase. It's not easy to make your way through the airport with your arms full of clothing.
I'll check back in from Nashville, but for now I should probably finish packing.
We would love y'alls prayers as we begin filming "Five Conversations You Should Have With Your Daughter" tomorrow. Please pray that God would guide Vicki in all that she shares and that this study would be exactly what He intends it to be.

Praying for a wonderful taping seeing as how it will come in handy in several years when my little girl is older!

I will keep you in my prayers Melanie. I have been passing around Vicki Courtneys name to several of my friends with daughters and telling them about her blog and website and all her fab material. I can’t wait to hear about this taping!! Enjoy!!! Maybe you can hook up with Patty or Travis or all the other fun people in Nashville. :)

I will be praying for everyone. What an important resource. I pray a “holy energy” over everyone - especially Vicki, and that the Lord is glorified in every single detail!

Praying for all the details to go above and beyond your expectations. I pray God will bless each one with joy and peace throughout.
Love, Holly

Have a safe trip! Bring home some good notes for those of us with little girls…
and I’m loving whatever print that is with the blue flowers on it. ADORABLE.

Girls! Thanks so much for all your sweet prayers. They are much appreciated!
I’m in Houston on my way to Nashville!

If you have time, try to go eat at the Loveless Cafe while you’re there.
From what I’m told, it’s a local landmark.
The ‘Biscuit Lady’ makes homemade biscuits there. Very Good! Had them there in June.
