So I'm headed to Nashville this coming Tuesday to give y'all a behind the scenes look at how LifeWay creates the DVD's for Bible studies.
Vicki Courtney will be filming the DVD series to go along with her upcoming study, "Five Conversations You Should Have With Your Daughter". (May 2009)
Or as I like to call it, "FCYSHWYD".
Anyway, I'll be reporting on all the important details, like the highlights from the discussions and, most importantly, what everyone is wearing.
Let me know if there's any important detail you must know and I'll see what I can do.

I’ve always wondered do they ever have to stop in the middle of a taping for a ‘do-over’?? Like, ‘I didn’t say that right — Can we start again?’ or ‘I tripped and fell off the platform, can we do a retake?’
Or is it just one smooth run through with editing later on?

Too funny! Yes, sometimes there are stops and do-overs. But I remember being at the taping of Return to the Garden with Kay Arthur and she was simply amazing. She wasn’t feeling well and had not had but a couple hours of sleep the night before. She looked fabulous of course and went on for at least a full 30 or 40 minutes without a single slip up. Then after it was over, she was told that there was a problem with the sound equipment and she had to do that section again. Oh my, she nailed it again, it wasn’t the same and she even changed a story. They were both so good. That’s our Kay!
