On womanhood
Melanie - December 11, 2008
Hey Y'all.
Yesterday was one of those crazy, hectic days where I felt like I had a million things to accomplish and not nearly enough time to get them all done. Add to that the fact that it was the coldest, windiest day we've had so far and all I wanted to do was curl up on the couch with some hot chocolate.
But I dutifully ran all my errands because my family tends to need things like milk, eggs and toilet paper to survive.
By the time I picked up Caroline and got home, I was exhausted from all the running around. I walked in the back door, loaded down with school bags and groceries and dropped them on the counter as I went to check the mail.
Look what showed up! A sign from God.

He knows it's tough being a woman.
He made us this way. Monthly hormones and all.
My Bible study group can't wait to begin this study in January. I'd love to know if any of y'all are doing the Esther study as well.
If you are, I thought we could come here and discuss it in the comments on a weekly basis because, y'all, we're all in this womanhood thing together.

We are doing Esther - started it last Wed night. We are taking it a little slower by request of the participants and so this week we did day one, two, and three and discussed those three days when we met last night. Now for next week we will do day 4 and day 5 and watch the video. We don’t have 2 hours to meet so this way works good so we still have time for discussion every other week.
I am liking it so much and wouldn’t you know that I watched Beth’s intro video right in the middle of a bunch of hormones. I wish I can say that I handled the hormones wonderfully, but I can say that God was working on me and I did better than other times!!

How tough is it being a woman? It’s so tough that at our church we are offering 2 sections of Esther to accommodate all the gals who want to participate in this study! I can’t wait!

Some of us were thinking about doing the study, but since we are a bit younger and on a tighter budget…. how do you guys decide who buys the study???
