It looks like I'm going beyond

A couple of months ago I looked over on the LifeWay Women's Events page to see if there was anything coming up in my neck of the woods. Since I'm in Birmingham, I always find it super-handy when there are LifeWay events in Nashville or Atlanta or even Memphis, so the first thing I did was look for those cities.
And after about one whole minute, I saw it: Going Beyond with Priscilla Shirer. In Atlanta. On February 6-7, 2009.
I kid you not: I flipped my 2008 planner to the very last page - where they print those teeny tiny calendars of the upcoming year - and marked the Going Beyond dates. Because I'm obsessive. And because I forget things.

That would be some photographic proof of my crazy.
A couple of nights later I went to Bible study and told the girls there about the event, and since many of them had been wowed by their first exposure to Priscilla's teaching through our Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed Bible study, they were tickled to know about the event. And we talked about how we'd love to go.
Well, guess what I found out today?
I'm going!
(Beyond, as it were.)
And I'm beyond excited.
What about you? Any plans in the works for an event or two in 2009? Any of you going to Going Beyond?

I would love to attend any women events but they RARELY make it to the upper midwest!! I was looking through my Christian Women magazine last night at the various women conferences and the closest one (which is already sold out) is over 1000 miles away!!!! :(

I’m going to Deeper Still on Oklahoma City!!! I’m taking my mom (she doesn’t even know who Beth, Kay, & Priscilla are) and I cannot wait to see how God uses this opportunity for her.

April 3-4 I’m going to Living Proof Live in New Orleans with a group of women from my church. I’m so excited. I’ve been talking to my Bible study friends about going, and I was so glad to see the ladies of our church going as a group. (Even though we have a great ladies’ ministry, we haven’t been to an out of town conference in the 8 years I’ve been here.) I’m expecting God to do some amazing things!

Baseballmama, Deeper Still in Nashville was a watershed moment in my life. You’re going to love it.

Ok I was typing in my info when all of a sudden a screen popped up saying it would post my comment after approval - huh?
So I have yet to leave a comment but here it is - I am heading to the CD recording in 3 weeks and have a wedding the weekend before that so I am not sure my hubs would approve of 3 weekends in a row out of town :(
I do love Priscilla Shirer though maybe I can twist his arm so I can attend - hehe Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks …

you know what? I just looked at this event for the first time… it’s 10 miles from my house! Not sure yet if I can go, but I’m definitely going to look into it. I LOVED her at Deeper Still in Atlanta. She was amazing.

Yeah!! I’m going with a couple ladies from our church here in West Alabama!! I didn’t even know about it until I read your blog! I simply L-O-V-E-D her at Deeper Still in Atlanta!! I am SO pumped!!! I’m ready to go WAY Beyond!!!

I would LOVE to! Actually, I won tickets with this blog for the mentoring story of myself and Tammy, but since we live in AR, I had to sadly default to give my tickets away. But can’t wait to read your post on it!
