When I first started blogging back in 2005, I looked high and low on the interweb for fun banners and buttons that I could put on the sidebar of my blog. I had all of four readers, I think (and two of those were spambots), but I wanted those other two real-live readers to be able to look at my sidebar and get a sense of who I was and what I believed.

However, at the time there just weren't a whole lot of free, good-looking banners and buttons to be found, so my sidebar pretty much consisted of the Blogger and Site Meter logos. I was clearly very high-tech.

But these days it's a whole new bloggy world, and there's all sorts of stuff you can put on your blog to give your readers a sense of who you are and what you believe. And tonight, when I was clicking around the LifeWay women's events page to make sure I had the right dates for a couple of upcoming conferences, I noticed the coolest little resource: WEB BANNERS.

OH YES MA'AM. My 2005 self would have been OVER THE MOON.

So if you're planning to attend a LifeWay women's event this year and want to spread the word (and, as an added bonus, the Word) to your readers, just click on the name of the events below and then scroll to the bottom of each page to find your sassy blog banners and buttons.
