LifeWay Women webcast tomorrow!
Sophie - August 29, 2009
So after an incredible weekend of simulcast goodness (were you there? did you love it? did you learn something? tell us all about your experience in the comments!), LifeWay Women's Pam Case and Paige Greene are hitting the ground running this week, and I thought some of y'all might be interested in one of the things they have going on in the next few days.
Tomorrow, September 1st, Pam and Paige will be a part of a LifeWay Women webcast. The webcast is at noon central, and it'll be a great opportunity for you to get updates on upcoming Bible studies, women's events, leadership and ministers' wives training and all sorts of new downloads that will be available here on the LifeWay site.
And knowing Pam and Paige, I can say with great confidence that the webcast will also be a great opportunity for you to laugh. Because oh my word, I don't think those two have ever found a situation where they couldn't find the funny.
If you're interested in being a part this neat online event, you can just click on over to sign up for the webcast. I know Pam and Paige would love to see some of y'all there!

I was part of the simulcast in Georgia and we loved it! I was in a church with about 150 women of all ages. It was a wonderful experience and I learned so much. The Bible study was excellent and the music…wonderful!

I was blessed to be in Green Bay with my sister. my of my how awesome to know women’s minstry leaders, friends from choir, friends from other states, or old college friends were in the buildin or other side of the screen. Beth even ‘breathed on me’ Sat morning… okay she was really 8 people down the row. God really spoke to me that we need to be godly “older women” to those around us so they can be mighty girls for God and one day mighty women of God. Funniest moment for me was looking up Sat morning at the end of worship and there down 2 rows was a college friend I knew was somewhere in the building with all those women. What a blessing to catch up.
?? Any idea how many women were in Green Bay?

I forgot to tell this part - as part of our ticket cost the church served supper, breakfast and a snack. For breakfast we had sausage biscuits, fruit and huge cookies! I really had a sausage biscuit and a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast!

Hi Sophie, It was INCREDIBLE!! I was so disappointed not to see you there. I am way behind on blog reading but somehow thought we would see you there tweeting and reporting along the way. Travis and the praise team was off the charts amazing and Beth was on fire with fresh Word! God was glorified and Kingdom ground was taken! It was way cool to be a part of it! Blessings lady!

Yep I was there and STILL soaking in my notes. Wow is just about all I can say.
I am amazed at just how “close” we all felt. So many in our church commented that we felt like we were in Green Bay not Dacula, GA!
Thanks to the many hands that worked so hard!
Blessings, stephanie

Just had to chime in! Both Paige and I are still spinning from the most amazing simulcast weekend. She was in Green Bay. I was in Nashville, coordinating our local church’s event. Then today, we had a 7 hour meeting! In it all, we found great joy! Seriously.
We never want to take for granted what God has allowed us to do thru the work we call LifeWay Women.
So, FOR SURE, join us tomorrow at 12noon (CDT) for the free webcast. I hope I can squeeze in the post-simulcast dream I had last night about being chased by the Cat in the Hat. That’s reason enough to tune in!!
Love y’all!

We had an awesome time at our homeboy Travis’ home church in Tennessee! I think we had somewhere around 230 crazy in love with Jesus women! You can imagine we hooped and hollered when both Travis and Beth gave us a shout out!
There was so much I learned. But these are a few of the honorable mentions:
-Delight is a Venti Joy with an extra shot! You KNOW I thought of that this morning when I went through the Starbucks line and the barista said, “That’s a no fat Venti White Mocha with an extra shot, no whip.” He actually called it a TRIPLE VENTI!!! (I was the host coordinator at Thompson Station Church and needed my extra shot!) That’s what I want — A TRIPLE VENTI OF JOY because that must be a whole lot of DELIGHT!
-“Christ is not to be the top priority of our life…He IS our life!”
-Micah 7:8, 18 - He “delights to show mercy.” He does not just tolerate me!
-“Humility sets us up for intimacy with Him like nothing else.”
-“Till faith becomes sight, trust God and do good!”
Love Psalm 37:3 in The Amplified: “Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.”
But on a side note, can I just say that Beth ROCKED THE CHIASTIC STRUCTURE WITH POINT #2!
“Beneath the desire of our hearts is the heart of our desire.”
See you at the webcast tomorrow!
Blessings, Dori
