Mediocre video highlights
Melanie - October 20, 2009
Over the course of LPL Memphis, I compiled a little video footage. I like to believe that what it lacks in quality (which is A LOT) it makes up for in quantity.
LPL Memphis Video from Kris Seidenkranz on Vimeo.
A few notes:
1. I know it's blurry. I don't know if it's the equipment as much as it is operator error.
2. Please don't miss Sophie saying "Argyle, argyle" during the part where Travis has on a sporty argyle vest.
3. You may notice it's in black and white. That's because I thought it might look more artsy. I don't know if it actually worked but I couldn't figure out how to change it back.
4. All the various styles of speed walking make me happy. You have the fast walk, you have the flat out run and you have the run/walk/skip combo.
5. There is no five but it seemed wrong to stop at four.

I’m fairly certain by the time we got to “How Great Thou Art” I was bawling like a baby.
What an amazing weekend for those of us there. Thank you for taping all this (and yes I said taping)for us! It just makes my heart melt all over again.
You and Sophie are such a gift to these events!
Hugs, Fran

You get a little bit of this during the “How Great Thou Art” section of your video, but it really struck me how loudly and beautifully we (the congregation of sisters) sang. I loved how Travis just backed off of his mic and let us sing. It’s one of the first events that I have been to that was truly “in the round” and I loved hearing all those beautiful voices. I can’t help but think that it was a glimpse of heaven.

I ditto Fran’s comment.
Mel, thank you for your video clippings. I totally dig them. They are a visual reminder of the Lord’s work that weekend. Praise!
I’ve still got the giggles over ‘argyle.’
PS - Paige, you and Pam were totally rockin’ it in the video y’all had that weekend.

Praying that I can continue to re-live the Word spoken over me and the Praise sung out and the friendships made and laughter cackling every single day. Every single day. He’s beyond good. It’s still beyond words.
Thanks for the mediocre-ness. It’s really much more than that Mel…

Okay, hysterical I found myself running to my seat. Emmy was behind me yelling, run, Wendy, Run! ( I felt a little like Forest Gump!) BUT we got front row seats baby!
