Just around the corner

December and January are pretty slow months from a women's event perspective - maybe because, for most of us, our "women's events" during those two months involve getting ready for Christmas, cooking about sixteen large meals during the Christmas season, cleaning up after Christmas, and then finding our way back to normal in the post-Christmas weeks.

And I don't know about y'all, but based on the way December and January usually pan out in our house, nobody would really want to buy a ticket for that. Not exactly what you would call riveting women's event material.

But February. Oh, February. February is a different story. Because February is the kick-off for what promises to be some wonderful women's events in 2010.

Here are the first two - and if you have heard Priscilla Shirer speak, then you know what a treat these events will be.
