Up next: Living Proof Live St. Louis

Sophie - June 21, 2010

I've been so encouraged by reading Holly's posts about Deeper Still, and they've made me that much more excited that this weekend I get to go to Living Proof Live in St. Louis.

So - just out of curiosity - is anyone else planning to be there? Or if you're not planning to be there, do you have suggestions for any must-sees / must-dos / must-eats in St. Louis?

Can't wait to hear from y'all!

Jennifer:

Charlie Gitto’s is a great place to eat in STL. Downtown location or on The Hill would be easy access from LPL and hotels. You must try the toasted ravioli!

I’m flying in for LPL STL from Texas to meet my mom and sister for a girls’ event. Can’t wait!

I am going with my best friend this weekend…we also get to bring along 3 lovely young women from my Small Group…

There is a lot to do in St. Louis… I have not had the chance to really explore, but I have heard that the museum is wonderful, and if you get the chance you should go up in the St. Louis arch…just to say you did it :) I went up and wanted to come down right away, as I was feeling a little closed in :)

Maybe I will see you there :)

Rachel:

I will be there with eight of my favorite friends. We can’t wait!!

Sophie - I will be in St. Louis for the LPL!!! There will be three other sisters there with me from the convent. We are so excited.

In St. Louis - you HAVE to have Ted Drewes frozen custard. And… the zoo is FREE and it is awesome - so if you get a chance go there! For shopping and fun - there’s Union Station and the Galleria (and a zillion other malls)!

Will Alex be with you? If so a trip to the Magic House is a MUST! And Grants Farm if possible - it is a little ways out of the city but its where the Budweiser Clydesdales are raised.

I grew up in St. Louis and these are some of the things I always go want to visit when I go back.

I hope I see you there! Blessings!

I’ll be there with my two BFF and we can’t wait! If you’ve never been before, you must embrace all things Cardinal and try out some fried ravioli. It’s a St. Louis creation and it’s fried, so what can be wrong with that?

My mom and I are going to be there! It’s the half way point between our two cities, so we can’t wait!!

Fran:

Truly thought about going to this one but decided last minute not to. Was actually going to go solo. But….family called.

Go up in that arch and tell me how horrible and scary it was for you too. I got to the top and turned around and got back in line to take the doohickie back to the bottom. ;)
