Happy 4th on the 5th

I know this is going to come as a shock, but sometimes, when people sing The Star Spangled Banner, the end result is a little overworked - to the point that it doesn't really resemble the original song at all.

But this version made me all teary-eyed. Absolutely beautiful.

At the end, where the players were all amazed and celebrating at the flyover? That is exactly how I feel every time the Thunderbirds fly over our house—WOW!

And the singing? Oh, it makes me so proud to be an American! What other country is like ours? Lord, please keep on blessing us and keep your face turned toward us. May we always be a light for you, Jesus!
