Fall Bible studies

Melanie - August 19, 2010

I know.

It's hard to even think about fall when it's still approximately 153 degrees outside. In the shade.

But, yet, the calendar seems to indicate that fall will be here before we know it. So I'm wondering if you have a Bible study picked out?

Which one?

And will you do it with your own small group or through your church? Or by yourself?

I just need to know these things.

April:

Already started “A Woman’s Heart” by Beth Moore. Doing the study on my own. Scheduling pretty much prevents me from doing a study with the ladies at my church. I always trust God to still speak to me during this season of life when I must go it alone, and He always does.

Janae:

Wednesday night ladies study chose Jonah!!! Can’t wait.

Teresa Stout:

We will start Jonah by Priacilla Shirer in September.

Charlotte:

Sunday night ladies group doing “Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed”… then “Esther”.

Penny:

Our ladies group at church will be doing When Godly People Do Ungodly Things by Beth Moore. We did this one about 6 years ago. Then late fall will probably do Jonah by Priscilla Shirer. We have a full fall, but will be so worth it.

Kari:

Our Wed night ladies have chosed Beth Moore’s Daniel - can’t wait!

Just made the final decision and ordered today…One in a Million. Your blog posts about this study actually helped me make my final decision. Really looking forward to it. I lead two groups with about 30 total, that will begin September 21.

I do at least two Bible Studies-one at my church. We start this Tuesday(can’t wait). We are doing: “A Perfect Mess (Why You Don’t have to Worry about being Good Enough for God)” by Lisa Harper. The other one is with PWOC(its a military organization) and for the life of me I can’t remember what we are doing but we start 7 September.

Kelli:

I can’t stop thinking about fall BECAUSE of the heat!!!

I am either doing Jonah at a local church or something that might be in the works for young moms st our church!

We’re doing Beth Moore’s Revelation Study: Here and Now, There and Then.

I’m really excited for it. We did Daniel over the summer and I’m looking forward to more faith-growing through Revelation.

Dee:

We start in September with Faith, Abundant, True. Really looking forward to it.

Kay:

I’m thrilled to be teaching a new study I just published with Crossbooks, a division of LifeWay, “Satisfied…at Last!” This 6-week, 7 session study helps women learn how Jesus, the Bread of Life, can truly satisfy those deep hungers of the soul. We are doing something new this time with my study group too. I’ve opened a Facebook page for the book at “Satisfied at Last” so women can talk to each other about the study as we go and they can also ask questions about the book or about the class.

“No other Gods” by Kelli Minter, then probably Jonah, by Priscilla.
