Going Beyond - Broken Arrow, OK

About eight months ago I was in Oklahoma City for Deeper Still, and I saw some sweet friends who live nearby. They were all a-flutter at the prospect of a Going Beyond event that was headed their way in August - which seemed a lifetime away in the midst the bitterly cold winds that nearly swept us away that weekend.

For the record, I'm sure that wind has been colder than that before and will be colder than that again. I'm just not so sure that I've experienced it firsthand. Not to mention that I was extraordinarily ill-prepared since I left my winter coat in Birmingham. But I digress.

Anyway - lo and behold - that Going Beyond event is almost here. It's coming up this weekend - August 6th and 7th - at The Church at Battle Creek in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

I know that Melanie and I have probably said this 50 times a piece, but if you have never sat under the teaching of Priscilla Shirer, GO. If Broken Arrow isn't close to you, then check out the upcoming Going Beyond events.

And just out of curiosity: will any of you be in Broken Arrow this weekend?
