Were you at the Forum?

I've been hearing some wonderful things about last week's National Women's Leadership Forum. In fact, yesterday afternoon one of the LifeWay folks posted on Facebook that the women's ministry team was "full as we remember all that God did at our National Women's Leadership Forum. It was wild and wonderful and wore us out but we LOVED every minute."
So I'm wondering: were any of you there?
And if you were, what were one or two things that really impacted you?

I was there and it was awesome! I have been to the past 3 and this one was the best yet! Curtis Jones’ message really impacted me. He did a fantastic job. God really spoke to me that I need to be giving Him the 99.1% and taking the .9% and He will do great things with that even when, like Gideon I feel inadequate sometimes. Also, I really felt convicted that I wasn’t making prayer a priority in my ministry. And also to take womens mministry outside the walls of the church.

I was there!
Really enjoyed enjoyed Esther Burroughs “Leaving a Spiritual Legacy” workshop and Beth Moore’s last message about “Celebrating the Future.” The prayer over the young women was really humbling, yet amazing to physically see God at work in the midst of us.

It was an absolutely wonderful conference. The Lifeway leadership - Chris, Paige, Selma, Betsy - and ALL the behind the scenes workers were tremendous. The staff at Ridgecrest was excellent too. I left so blessed.
The early morning message that Curtis Jones brought on Thursday was tremendous. Prayer first - strategy after. So simple yet so true.
Beth’s message about celebrating the future touched my heart in deep places…and I loved blessing the young women, especially since I will be 53 TOMORROW!!!

Is Rich going to do a recap video of the Forum like they do of the LPL and Deeper Still events? Would Love to see that!

What a wonderful time … and so challenging. My biggest take away was the phrase “you keep pace with those that you run with”. Hmmm - who am I keeping pace with and am I even “running”? This has challenged me to take a deeper look at where God is leading and am I truly listening for His voice? There is so much more that I could/should be doing … and am praying for opportunities to stretch myself. Beth was, of course, as wonderful as ever, but I was also amazed at just how many quality speakers were there to share in our break out sessions! Thanks for such an inspiring opportunity, I was blessed by every minute of it!
