Passion

Melanie - January 4, 2011

I've spent the last few days watching live video stream of the Passion Conference that's going on right now in Atlanta. For those of you who may not know, Passion is a huge gathering for 18-25 year olds that was started by Louie Giglio and has grown beyond imagination over the last ten years or so. In fact, there are 22,000 college students in attendance this year.

And the best part is that those young people are able to hear some real wisdom from a platform of speakers that include Beth Moore, John Piper, Francis Chan and Andy Stanley. I don't know that there is anything that moves me more than seeing seasoned veterans of the Christian faith pour themselves into raising up the next generation. As Beth said in her talk on Sunday morning, there is a good chance that some of the greatest Christian minds of the next generation are sitting in that very conference right now making the decision to live all out for Christ.

To check it out or to listen to some of the sermons, click on over to the Passion site. It's enough to make me wonder if I can disguise myself as a twenty-something and attend the next one.
