I would love to be able to use this in my own women’s Bible Study and also pass it on to the others within our church!

Let me start off by saying that I just started my blog last night so there are no posts yet but will be tonight…hopefully :)

My churches women’s ministry is constantly looking for ways to reach out to the women in our community and what better way to reach a part of the community that never gets reached. My husband is also the college pastor at our church and I can only imagine how many college students that this would minister to if we were to offer it at our church. What a blessing this study would and could be to so many women, just out of our church.

I am excited to enter my 2nd ever giveaway from Lifeway. I feel lucky since today is my birthday. I would do this with my woman’s bible study at First Baptist Church Swannanoa, NC My husband gave me Beth Moore tickets in Charlotte for my birthday today. So I will get to see her in July.

We just completed a series of sermons at our local church “Controversial Conversations” and this was one of the topics which many were moved by. I think this would be an excellent study to help women move forward with Christ…many women were and still are hurting from this issue, even after many of years they are just facing and dealing with it. Having a bible study to help would definitely be a help in ministering to those that are broke and looking for healing

I would love to add this to our library at our local pregnancy center. It will be a valuable study to use with our ladies there! Thank you for this opportunity.

I am not sure what God would have me to do with this topic.
My daughter and I listened to her recent webcast live on Lifeway. This is not discussed at our church. I would read the study first and then await the prompting of the Holy Spirit for the next direction. (At present I do not have a social media site.)

I would use this study at my Church and also open it up to whoever wanted to do it. I feel there is such a need for this type of encouragement in many lives around us.

This is one of the HUGe goals for our ministry this year. To have an abortion recovery Bible study. This would answer a HUGE prayer for us.

Myself, along with others are in the beginning stages of establishing an outreach ministry which will focus primarily on teenager women and women who are imprisoned. Many young ladies often feel so alone in dealing with difficult issues such as this and many hide their secrets in fear, not realizing the effect this can have on their lives. We hope to reach out to these women and provide well structured study which will help them work through their struggles.

I would love to win this study to share in a new ministry. This coming Sunday, my husband begins a new pastorate near Phoenix, AZ.

just for the ladies ministry we hope to start our new church. Currently, there is very little at the church in the way of ministry to women and I would love to have materials like this to start off with.

According to statistics, there were over 10K abortions in AZ in 2006 - and those are just the “legal,” reported abortions. This study is so needed everywhere. I would love to have it, but know God will use it wherever it lands! Blessings - Kristy

I have been following Pat Layton’s ministry for sometime and my schedule has not allowed me to go for training but in reading all the comments I see that this subject is considered a “contraversail conversation” and yes it is. I remember once during sanctity of life sunday a lady in our sunday school class said, “why don’t they preach this sermon out on the streets, but not here in our church”. AT THAT MOMENT I knew my story had to be told. Abortion does not have a color of skin , an economic class, an age, or anything like that IT is a decision that many women make out of fear…. I am one of those women.I have sat in churches for years with other women who like myself suffer from the pain, the guilt, the shame of this sin. THrough another bible study years ago i was released from those things along with GOD leading me every step of the way. I want to help other women be FREE. no one can tell you the deep dark place that you live your life unless you’ve been there. It causes you to not others even those who want to love you, It keeps you angry inside but most of all it keeps you from having an intimate relationship with Christ . I would use this study along with my personal testimony to help women,probably a bible study in my home or possibly a blog bible study. I do have one where I post my intimate thoughts and share GOD with others. I must admit that it is way behind. I am a Wedding Photographer full time and therefore about 10 months a year are a whirlwind to me BUT…God is speaking to me about slowing down, sharing the things i’ve been through with others so that it won’t take them as long as it did me to WALK OUT THEIR FAITH and to seek God with their WHOLE HEART.

I would be greatly appreciative to win this kit for the hurting women in my church and in the surrounding communities of Woodville, Texas. I am a Pastor wife and has attended siminary for women ministry. There are so many hurting women, girls, and young adult that need to surrender their secret to themselves first out loud and then to God. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!!!!!!

We have led 3 Surrendering the Secret bible studies at our church. The ladies who have attended have found healing in their lives and freedom from their bondage. It was incredible to see the change in them. God did an amazing work in each one of them. They all commented that the study has improved their relationships, especially with their husbands. We were not sure how many women would come, but have had 4 to 6 each class. It was such a blessing to me as well. I received more healing from my abortion even though I had gone through a course years ago. I would use a new curriculum in the pregnancy center where I work, as we have many women who come in who are post abortive.I don’t know the link!

I have seen the stronghold that abortion has on women. Satan does all he can to enslave women with quilt and doubt. I long to be used by God in helping women to see the love and forgiveness and HEALING that is available through Christ. Only He can rip apart the shackles that Satan places us in; only Jesus can redeem and restore! If I received this leader kit, I would use it to begin a small group in my home. We are a pregnancy clinic and work to empower women to choose life, however there are some who still choose abortion.

Just this morning I watched a youtube clip of 3 young women who chose abortion. They expressed their reasons publicly and although they felt it to be their best option there was a lot of dichotomy in all three women.

We want women like these to come to our clinic knowing they will be safe and heard… We want them to know they can forgive themselves and be forgiven by God. We want them to be able to one day walk with their heads high again and find freedom from their shame. Surrendering the Secret does a fantastic job of that! That is what we would use this study for.

I work at the Pregnancy Resource Center in Charlotte, NC. I and 6 others have just completed the Surrendering The Secret Study and a few of us have registered to attend the certification class in July. We purchased the Training kit at CareNet Conference and will need additional kits as we launch into the churches. God has already opened the door in a Church and we haven’t even started promoting it. We are excited to see what God has in store for the Charlotte area!
