Don't miss Deeper Still

I've known for a couple of months that I'm going to Deeper Still Louisville on June 10-12. But last week I actually looked up flights, made some concrete plans - and oh my lands, I CANNOT WAIT.
But let me be clear.
I think sometimes people have the perception that women get wrapped up in the emotion of events like Deeper Still, that women show up with the expectation of an "experience" and walk away with little more than a really happy feeling.
But as someone who has attended several Deeper Still events, I can tell you that the absolute core of Deeper Still is the Word of God. Scripture is the focus and the driving force. And while I always walk away from Deeper Still more encouraged than I was when I got there, I also walk away challenged. Convicted. Burdened, even - by the reality of my sin and the helpless state of a heart that's not surrendered to Him.
I am reminded, over and over again, that He is everything.
Deeper Still isn't a big pep rally for Jesus, though certainly it's a celebration of His love, His mercy and His saving grace. It's also a time of incredible, Biblical teaching from Kay Arthur, Priscilla Shirer and Beth Moore. It's a time for learning more, for worshipping freely, for digging deeper - all for the glory of God.
We hope so much that you'll be there with us!

I am so disappointed that I won’t be able to go this year. It will be the first one that I have missed. I’m especially disappointed since it will be the last Deeper Still event. Those who have never been need to take the last opportunity and go. It is truly a blessing beyond words.

Sophie, I am so excited! It’ll be my first one and I’m truly anticipating a Word.
A lot is getting changed up these 3 weeks before hand, I know God it up to something. Sure hope to see you there and squeeze your neck again! love, racheol

You said it Sophie!!! I’m so sorry this is the last one and I won’t be able to attend. I know though, God is going to continue to use these ladies to do even more and I for one am thankful for them all.

I will be there, and I can’t wait! I attended in Nashville in 2007 (where they filmed what became “Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed.” I will say that DEEPER Still is aptly named. God took me deeper then, and I know He will this time, too. Perhaps I’ll get the chance to meet you face to face! I read your blog and this one regularly, so I already sorta feel like we’re family. ;-)

this is my first…Have my wristband, transportation & accomodations….ready to go!!!…I’ve seen Beth, Kay and just recently Priscilla…Excited about hearing from all three…which i call them…”Triple Threat”…They are some Superbad Sistas that bring the Word of God in such a Powerful way…
