Deeper Still Louisville - Behind the scenes
Melanie - June 23, 2011
So last night I finally took the time to upload some pictures from Deeper Still Louisville. I have no idea why it took me so long but I'm going to lean heavily towards my ability to procrastinate with the combination of being on a summer schedule.
But I got it done.
Two weeks late, but who's counting?
I thought you might like to see a few photos from the event. Please keep in mind that I pride myself on my amateur photographic abilities.
First up, our gal, Paige Greene, rallied the troops with an inspirational message using the whiteboard in the locker room of Freedom Hall.

Actually, the message wasn't so much inspirational as it was a basic faux game plan using some semblance of basketball terms. We are easily amused.
Here's Darlene printing out signs for reserved seats.

And the team figuring out their next move. I have no idea what that is because they don't really tell me those things. I just stand around and try to look like I'm doing something.

Behold, the ABUNDANCE shuttle that Amy Cato drove in all the way from Nashville.

It's majestic, isn't it? I thought they were calling it the Abundance shuttle because it held an ABUNDANCE of people. But as it turns out, they called it the Abundance shuttle because there is a new LifeWay event on the horizon called Abundance and they used the shuttle to take the authors to and from the arena.
Yes. That makes more sense.
And speaking of the new Abundance event, here's Paige Greene interviewing some of the Abundance speakers on stage.

In case you can't tell from my stellar photography, that's Vicki Courtney, Angie Smith, Tammie Head, Kelly Minter and Angela Thomas.
They might be coming soon to an arena near you. We'll keep you posted on that.
And, lastly, here's a picture of the fearless worship team doing their thing.

Nobody does it better.
Believe it or not, we're still not done talking about Deeper Still. We'll recap Beth's message next week. It was one of my favorites EVER.

Thanks so much for the Deeper Still recaps. It was a life-changing event for my mom and me. I am thankful to God for the opportunity to attend. Reading back over the highlights and seeing the photos reminds me to live it out now that I am home. Thanks to Lifeway for all the hard work advancing the kingdom of God.
