K-LOVE and Lubbock LPL Winner

Some of y'all may remember when I posted last week about the K-LOVE contest to win a free trip to scenic LUBBOCK, TEXAS to attend Living Proof Live in September.
Well, K-LOVE has chosen a winner. Her name is Sheila and she is from Joplin, Missouri. I think we all can imagine what the last month of her life has been like.
Here's what Sheila shared with our gal, Paige Greene. During the tornado she hid in the bathroom but normally hides in her bedroom closet. Had she been in the closet, she likely would have been pulled from her home. Only the bathroom was intact. You can see this in the photo. She was not a home owner but a renter. She had renters insurance and is currently seeking a new place to live.
Sheila has already chosen the three friends she is planning to bring with her to Lubbock. They are:
1. Penny, who also lost her home and car in the tornado
2. Para, her friend who took her photo.
3. Jane, her friend who took her in to stay with her since the tornado
Her church, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, was also hit and the worship Center was destroyed. Since the 2012 simulcast for her church was part of her grand prize, they will be seeking another building to hold the event in.
How God spared her life and helped her get her car replaced quickly along with her winning this contest has made her realize that she is definitely not alone. That God sees her and is for her.
We are so thankful that we will get to minister to Sheila, her friends, and their church who lost so much in the tornado.

I was so upset that I missed getting my entry in, then I read this and am so joyfully happy for Shelia and her friends. Have a wonderful time gals. Thank you to Lifeway Women and K-love for allowing our LORD to bless others through you. m.grace
