Courageous: Building Biblical Marriages

Sophie - August 10, 2011

If you've attended a LifeWay Women event recently, you may have seen a sample of a new Bible study called Courageous Living. It ties in with the new movie from Sherwood Baptist, Courageous, and it's geared toward helping husbands and fathers be more effective leaders in their families.

But if you're thinking that you'd love for you and your husband to have a more personal, one-on-one encounter with some of the Biblical principles in Courageous as you work to strengthen your marriage, don't miss this year's Festivals of Marriage, where the theme is Courageous: Building Biblical Marriages.

The FOM conferences are in Ridgecrest, North Carolina and Glorieta, New Mexico. My husband and I attended FOM in Ridgecrest a couple of years ago, and it was such a sweet time for us. If you're interested, you can read more about our experience here.

It's so easy to think about all the ways we want to work at being a better parent and even a better friend, but sometimes we forget to be intentional about being a better spouse. A weekend at FOM is just the thing to help you and your husband re-prioritize, re-commit and re-connect. It's a wonderful way to spend an October weekend, and it's an investment in your marriage that you won't regret!
