Ok.

We're ending the year on a big note with an incredible giveaway. We're giving away a Living Room Series Set by Kelly Minter. This includes all three of her studies: No Other Gods, Ruth: Loss, Love and Legacy, and the Loss, Love and Legacy CD.

I've just finished both of these studies and they are AMAZING. Seriously amazing. Kelly Minter is so incredibly gifted and her writing is engaging and compelling. You will definitely want to check her out if you haven't already.

All you have to do for a chance to win is leave a comment letting us know how you'd use the Bible study if you win. Are you doing a Spring study at your church? Maybe at your house?

We'll close comments on Tuesday morning and use Random.org to select a winner. The winner will have five days to get back with us to collect their prize.

That's it! Have fun.

Happy New Year! We'll see you in 2012.

Revisiting regret

Sophie - December 28, 2011 - Comments (1)

Last night I was hopping along a delightful little Internet rabbit trail, just sort of clicking from one link to the next with no real direction, and somehow I ended up watching this clip from one of Beth Moore's appearances on Life Today.

Oh, it was a timely word for me. I've actually had several conversations with a sweet friend about this very topic (r-e-g-r-e-t) lately, and I'm convinced that the enemy loves to keep our heads turned in the direction of our pasts to try to prevent us from seeing God's plans for our future.

So, if you've ever struggled with rubbernecking on the road of your very own life - if you've ever been so preoccupied with looking back at old mistakes that your regret has interfered with your walk in victory in the present - take a few minutes to watch this video.

Here's to a new response to those old regrets.

Amen and amen.

Love Came For Me

Sophie - December 26, 2011 - Comments (1)

I realize that we're all probably a little sluggish this morning considering that yesterday was more than likely chock-full of excitement and activity and food and celebrating and maybe even some repeated viewings of A Christmas Story (which, by the way, our eight year-old watched for the first time and loved).

But this morning I woke up thinking about a song that sweet Paige Greene mentioned to me earlier this week. It's a mighty fine way to hold tight to the miracle of Christmas in the days, weeks and months to come.

Merry Christmas, y'all. All of us here at AllAccess just love you to pieces.

Love Came Down

Our worship leader sang this song at church last Sunday and it's been with me ever since.

Not to sound like Linus, but this?

Is what Christmas is all about.
