Thank you all for participating in the Interrupted Giveaway promotion by posting about the Bible study in your social space, whether it be your blog, Facebook page, or Twitter feed. We randomly chose the winner from all of the posts. Darla Baerg should be receiving her free Interrupted Leader Kit by Jen Hatmaker in the mail any day now. Follow her on Twitter at @DarlaBaerg!
If you haven't already, I hope you'll check out this video about Jen Hatmaker's story (the inspiration for Interrupted) and visit http://www.threadsmedia.com/interrupted
I just got this information from Kris, and I thought y'all would be oh-so-delighted to start your Monday off with a giveaway.
Interrupted: An Adventure in Relearning the Essentials of Faith, by Jen Hatmaker, is a new short-term Bible study from Threads. Check out the Threads site for more information about the study. The leader kit (a $69.95 value) includes a member book, a DVD with documentary video clips to jump start discussion in your small group, and a CD-ROM with leader helps, music, audio files and more!
Winning is so easy. All you need to do is post on your blog, Facebook, or Twitter feed about the Interrupted giveaway, linking your readers back to this post on the All Access blog. Then, come back to this page and post a comment with a link to your social network post. We will randomly choose one winner from those who posted to receive the leader kit.
There's so much going on with LifeWay Women that it's probably inevitable that various little bits of bloggy news and/or notes will get lost in the shuffle. So today I thought I'd quickly revisit something that we told you about a few months ago, because quite frankly I tend to err on the side of obsessive and what if you missed it the first time, WHAT IF YOU MISSED IT, CLEARLY THAT WOULD BE HORRIBLE.
Y'all may remember that way back in the fall, I flew to Nashville and had the opportunity to be on the set while Vicki Courtney taped her new Bible study "Five Conversations You Must Have With Your Daughter". I received a copy of it last week and it turned out so well.
If you are the mother of a daughter you will find so much practical wisdom in this study and it would be so fun to do it with a group of moms who are all in the trenches trying to raise their daughters into women who run after God.
The night of Travis Cottrell's live CD recording, our buddy Rich took a whole bunch of fun pictures. This one, taken about thirty minutes before the service started, is one of my favorites.
And if you'd like to win one of five copies of Travis' new CD, Jesus Saves LIVE - which will be released on June 2nd - leave your very best caption for the picture in the comments.
We'll close this giveaway on Wednesday, May 27 and announce winners on Thursday, May 28.
Melanie is without internet right now due to some uncooperative weather, so I'm jumping on in her usual Friday spot to announce the winner of our caption contest.
Ready?
Here's the photo to refresh your memory -
- and the winner is Kristin - with "We're off to see the wizard...."
Thanks, Kristin, for making us laugh - and thanks, everybody, for all your wonderful entries!
Kristin, if you'll email your mailing address to kris.seidenkranz@lifeway.com and put "AllAccess Winner" in the subject line, she'll send you your copy of Kelly Minter's No Other Gods.
First of all, I need to apologize because I said in the original post that I'd announce the Discerning The Voice of God DVDs giveaway winner this past Thursday, April 8th.
And now it's Monday, April 12th. I hang my head in shame.
You can blame my forgetfulness on all the pound cakes I've been baking the last four or five days. Quite frankly I found it very difficult to concentrate in the presence of that much butter and sugar.
But the good news is that we have a winner!
Congratulations, Karissa! You'll have an email from me sometime today with info about how to claim your prize.
For the last couple of months I've been working my way through Priscilla Shirer's Discerning The Voice of God with my Bible study group. We have enjoyed the study so much - it is convicting and incredibly encouraging to study Scripture and be reminded how deeply God treasures us, how lovingly He speaks to us. I had some serious a-ha moments as I worked through the homework, and I know I'll go back to the lessons again and again.
Tonight our group will watch our final DVD session, and then we're moving on to Anne Graham Lotz's Pursuing More of Jesus (the video sessions for Pursuing are available online, by the way - I think that is SNAZZY). Anyway, yesterday I started to think about wrapping up one study and beginning another one, and I had me a brainstorm, oh yes I did.
Here is the gist of my brainstorm:
1. We're about to finish the Discerning DVDs.
2. My Bible study group would love to pass along the DVDs.
3. Maybe someone who reads AllAccess would like to use the DVDs in their church or Bible study.
I never said my brainstorm was, you know, fancy.
So, if you'd like to win the DVDs that accompany Discerning The Voice of God, just leave a comment and tell me when and how you plan to use them. I'll draw a winner randomly and announce the winner next Thursday, April 8th.

(This post written by Pam Case, Director of LifeWay Women and a Minister's Wife!)
From one minister's wife to any other out there, it is one interesting ride that I am on. It's been a 12 year journey for me so far. And for those living in my shoes, you know what I mean when I say no two days have been the same! Do I hear an 'amen' in the house? Well, it only makes sense that we might want to bless a minister's wife, or two or three ... or let's say TEN minister's wives with an opportunity for God to bless 'em through the upcoming Living Proof Live w/Beth Moore for Minister's Wives.
Beth will be in Nashville March 13-14 for this exclusive event. Are you a minister's wife OR would you like to bless your own minister's wife with a ticket to the weekend?
Here's what we'll do. Comment me below with a short paragraph why you (if YOU are a minister's wife) or why YOUR OWN minister's wife needs to be blessed with a ticket to the March 13-14 event. Comment me like crazy over the weekend. On Monday, in the women's business team meeting I lead, we'll take a break and do a random drawing from all the comments. There is not one purchase necessary, just your wonderful comments here.
Late Monday, we'll contact those ten who commented and won. Keep in mind, this will not include travel, but we're covering the registration for the Beth Moore Living Proof Live event. It's gonna be a life-changing weekend for those ladies - and I'll be one of them.
If your minister's wife would still like to attend, it's not too late to register either - www.lifeway.com/women ! So, comment on. Looking forward to reading the responses and pulling ten blessed names on Monday! I love ya'll! Pam
OK, you don't know me but I add the videos, fix broken things, and host of other things for the AllAccess blog. So, when I went to the wonderful AllAccess people and asked to hijack a post, they graciously allowed me. Maybe it was because they realized I could make their pictures look funny or shut the whole thing down, but I am just going to think it's because they are THAT AWESOME and they want you to know about a good thing.
Our ParentLife magazine people are venturing into the blogosphere and it's about time. This is for Moms AND Dads of kids - well, I guess there is an assumed kid when you say you are a mom and dad - but what I mean is that they are preteens and younger, down to babies. And just like a baby is brand new, so is the ParentLife Blog. They want you to stop by the delivery room and tell them how cute or not so cute they are and one person will actually get a free book for the feedback given. Oh, and if you work with kids or just like cute kid picts, the ParentLife Blog is also a place for you. You can also send in cute kid pictures and submit your funny stories. Based on what they hear, there may be some tweaks and changes or a massive overhaul (I originally typed overalls ;) so that it is the best parenting blog - evuh!
I want to hijack more posts. This was fun. I feel like a pirate - ARRR. Until then, back to your regularly scheduled bloggers.
Thank you for your entries into our "Life Change. One Woman at a Time" Blog Contest. Your stories were so touching, moving, challenging, and compelling! Wow, it's awesome to hear what God is doing in and through the lives of women everywhere!
Do you want to "go beyond" in your spiritual journey? Well, we want to offer you the opportunity to do just that. You can join nationwide speaker, Bible teacher, and best-selling author Priscilla Shirer as she leads women to go beyond where they are to a new place on the journey at one of our Going Beyond events! Would you like to attend one of these events for FREE?
You will experience renewal and refreshment as Priscilla challenges you to abandon the everyday, ordinary life for a vibrant, soul-satisfying walk with Christ. Plus, Going Beyond offers more fuel for your journey with special musical guest Vicki Yohe and moving worship led by Alex Williams.
So, you want to know more about the FREE part? Here's how: We're sponsoring a blog contest called "Life Change. One Woman at a Time." Simply respond to this post and tell us how your life has been changed by the influence of another Christian woman in your life or how God has used you to bring about life change - one woman at a time. We want to hear about how God has been working in women's lives throughout this nation (and even the world). A team of us will review the posts and choose one of the submissions to offer a FREE pair of tickets to attend a Going Beyond event of her choice! Deadline for submission is Friday, January 16. I'll announce the recipient of the FREE tickets on Monday, January 19.
Pray about your posts and then submit your comments to this essay contest "Life Change. One Woman at a Time." By the way, we're not judging grammar, essay construction, or any of that kind of stuff. We simply want to hear how God has been working in your lives. You don't have to be a writer to make a submission. So, tell your friends. We want to hear from you. We'll all be blessed by your posts.
Our bestest giveaway buddy (random.org) has done its work, and I'm happy to announce that the winner of Priscilla Shirer's "He Speaks To Me" Bible study Leader Kit is Jesica, commenter #11.
Congratulations, Jesica! If you'll email Dawn.Cornelius@lifeway.com, she'll make sure that you get your fabulous prize. Just make sure to put "AllAccess Winner" in the subject line.
And thanks, everybody, for taking time to comment and enter the giveaways - it's so fun to read about how you're digging deep in the Word with your Bible study groups, church groups, and families.
It's that time again . . . another Christmas giveaway begins today.
Can you believe it's only 13 days until the greatest birthday celebration on earth? With that in mind, what better way to celebrate than to position ourselves to hear from the One whom we celebrate! This week's give-away is He Speaks to Me Leader Kit by Priscilla Shirer. It's another great LifeWay Bible study with seven sessions of small group study and includes two DVDs. As a bonus, there is also a music video by recording artist Anthony Evans.
Priscilla says, "Why do we settle for the Word of the Lord revealed to someone else and passed on to us as if God does not speak to us individually?" God is going to reveal Himself and His plan for you in new ways.
Make a comment to this post and you'll be entered into the drawing. We will announce the winner on Tuesday, December 16.
Happy Tuesday to everyone out there! Can you believe it's only 23 days until Christmas? This week's give-away is When Wallflowers Dance Leader Kit by Angela Thomas. It's another great LifeWay Bible study and comes in two formats: 7 weekly DVD sessions or taught in a retreat format. This is a great study to invite your neighborhood girlfriends who might not be walking with Jesus. Angela says, "The hurt and disappointment of life can blot out the beauty of a bold, vivacious woman, but God intends for us to dance the dance of our lives in His lavish embrace."
Make a comment to this post and you'll be entered into the drawing. We will announce the winner on Monday December 8th.
