I just purchased the accompaniment cd's and 3 singer editions of the new lifeway worship project. I am the worship leader for a small church. My church doesn't have anyone who can play an instrument, so this is an answer to prayer. I have a question though -- Why does the singer edition not contain all the songs? There are 975 tracks, yet only printed music for 674. The way the tracks are done, they are true accompaniment solo style tracks and often the "solo" or lead vocal is not on the track. That's fine if you know the song, but if you want to learn a "new" song you don't know without music to follow it is impossible. How can I get the rest of the songs in printed format?! I would appreciate your help!

Sincerely,

Michellee Bachman

Thank you for your question, Michellee. The reason there are more songs on the Accompaniment CDs than in the Singers Edition is because the Accompaniment CDs reflect all of the titles that represent the Worship Project to date. The Singers Edition, however, is basically the Pew Edition without the hard cover.

What became obvious to us in the early stages of planning the Pew Edition was that we had many more songs that we wanted to make available to you all than would fit into one hymnal. What that made us do is think very hard about which of the 975 songs would be offered in the Pew Edition and we stuffed it full. We put as many tunes in it as we could.

To answer your second question you may go to LifeWayWorship.com to purchase the print for any particular title you need that is on the Accompaniment CDs as you need it.

something seems wrong with the audio.

it sounds like one track has the instruments, the other track has back up vocals, but I don't have anything that has the regular vocals.

What am I doing wrong?
