Thank you for reading this blog and using LifeWayWorship.com. Recently, a music minister called one of our customer support representatives to say:
"Every time I go looking for a song on your website, I feel like I'm going to have to look somewhere else...but they *always* end up being there!"
I hope that this site continues to grow to be the place you come to every week for your worship-leading resources. And I love hearing from you and your experiences. So, I created this page to collect your feedback. Are you using LifeWayWorship.com on a regular basis? SongMap to arrange your masterpieces? WorshipMap to plan it all? Use the comment form below to tell us all about your ministry and your experience with our website.
God bless you all. We appreciate you. Lift Him up.

Thank you so much for your help. I just want you to know that we have been sooooooo incredibly blessed with this program. Our church is in a huge transition and we lost our piano player. So needless to say, this has been our saving grace! So thank you and everyone else there for your hard work!
God bless you all in your ministry!
(Originally posted in Expanding Our Horizons). By providing a way to download instrumental music one song at a time, Lifeway Worship is providing a service I've been wanting for several years. Our church is small and has no musicians, but still enjoys upbeat music. The only negative I can see so far is the treatment of traditional hymns. The music used is rather "hokie." I would like to see the traditional hymns put to modern music, but with "hymnbook arrangements" and a praise and worship sound rather than "pop." Many of the songs categorized as contemporary hymns are very close to what I am suggesting, but some of them mess too much with the melodies and get a little beyond the praise and worship style. But, other than that, praise the Lord for Lifeway Worship. It's the right project for the right time in our church.
Hi, David. Thanks for your comment. You might want to try to filter your searches by selecting the "Praise Chorus" checkbox. This might be that "praise and worship," but not quite "pop" sound you're looking for.
I recently subscribed to the yearly WorshipMap Pro plan. I am excited about the communication and tools it will allow for our worship ministry. I looked at many online services and communication tools, and came to the conclusion that what you are offering is the best and most cost effective option for our church.
I have been getting choir and orchestra members to sign up, and one comment that I am hearing over and over, is that it is pretty clear what they should do the first time they log in, but when they return to the site it is confusing. They have been asking if there could be a link that is more clear so that after they sign in, they can directly access our church’s information.
I have not had a rehearsal time with them yet where I can demonstrate for the whole group how to accomplish this, and that will definitely answer most of their questions, but is there a possibility that a different link will be provided. They don’t understand that they need to click on “New! WorshipMap Pro”, because it is under “Plan Worship”, and they don’t see that they are a part of that process. If there was a separate link – not associated with “plan worship”, maybe they would see it more clearly.
I think this is a wonderful tool. I had looked at it at my previous church, and it didn’t fit the ministry I had there. I am excited to now be using Lifewayworship.com for our ministry here. Thank you for your work to help the churches further the ministry of the Gospel!
... Please send my thanks to everyone working the Worship Project. I truly can't communicate sufficiently how it has made my work as a worship leader easier. And, Jonathan, thank you for your personal attention. You are all blessings.
Take care,
Joe
(via phone conversation) LifeWayWorship.com has completely revolutionized how we do what we do!
After a year of working with LifewayWorship, I depend on the site to help with the planning of each week's services. I have downloaded many of the newer selections to introduce our older choir to newer music. Having the split track really helps with practice also. Thanks to all of the Lifeway team for the extreme amount of effort put into LifewayWorship.com.
Since October 2008, our "Worship Team" has been the tracks & vocals from LifeWayWorship.com. There are only a few non-LifeWayWorship tracks that we use - Dennis Jernigan's Come, King Jesus and It's Gonna Be All Right, Brian Doerksen's Today, The River, It's Time For The Reign of God and Everlasting, and Matt Redman's Shine.
We've now used about 130 of the tracks, and are able to compile thematic sets to complement any sermon. Thanks!
I really appreciate the LifewayWorship website. The variety of songs available is great, the ease of use, the fact that I can choose the instrumentation and key, and even map the songs. Really a great resource!
A couple of suggestions that would make it easier for me (and I presume others) to use.
1. Some way to download all purchases with one click. Having to download each individual file is a slow process when there are a number of files.
2. Naming the files with the song title rather than a file number. After downloading each individual file, I then have to go through and rename every file so I can identify it in the future.
Again, I’m not complaining, I really like what you’re offering. These two ideas would kick it up a notch for me. Thanks!
I think the online training on Lifeway worship coming on April 27 is a great idea. However, not everyone will be able to "tune in" (like myself). Why not go ahead and put the training on a DVD and make it available to all. I'm sure that the more training that is received will increase the usage of all the great tools that are available.
Thanks for your feedback, Leonard. What we're trying on the 27th is a grand experiment. We'll see what other kind of feedback we get. Thanks again. -- Jonathan Riggs
We use the Lifeway project exclusively here. I have purchased so far 18 cd rom of the project to use with my orchestra. I do all my plannin with lifeway each week. My soloist and ensembles use it too. We would consider ourselves a blended style here.
However, I dont see any souther gospel offerings to any extent. I would think that based out of Nashville the project would have been loaded with souther gospel material. When we blend here, that is a part of our blend. We're in western NC and southern gospel, bluegrass and the such is very useable. Our churches are not just either traditional or contemporary, we are much and many more than that. For LifeWay to assume that we would be just either of two is not broad enough. Yes there, are many sources of music for southern gospel elsewhere and I'll buy it there, but come on LifeWay get back to your roots and use that Nashville potential.
Hi Sammy, good to hear from you. Thanks for the comment and suggestion. We always like to hear what congregations are singing so we can be the best resource we can be. Keep the ideas coming! Blessings to you.
I just got on your website for the first time today. Saw your promotion for downloading a free song but don't know how or where to download it from. It says to use a code but I didn't see where to put the code or where it says "download here".
Please respond.

Daryl, you can visit LifeWayWorship.com to use the download codes. Watch this help video or give us a call at 800-436-3869 and we'll be glad to show you how to get the free music! Thanks!
Would love to see a category above the music list of NEW or Recently Added. Sometimes when I am searching for fitting music, it is easier to look through new arrivals, since I have been on recently poring over the list already.
Having trouble downloading "In Christ Alone". I'm sure it's because everyone is doin it, but can we still get it tomorrow? I've been trying all day - Thanks for the song
Have trouble downloading "In Christ Alone."
I love being able to use lifewayworship.com. But I have a request for a song to be added to your song list - I Will Sing Praise by Michael Popham and Regi Stone. I would love to be able to have the arrangement to use in our worship service with our orchestra. Keep up the good work!!
I've been trying to find songs with the singer sheets written in 4 part harmony so I can use it with my choir. Seems like 4-part doesn't exist anymore. Is that a purposeful trend or am I not looking at old enough songs?
